Teaching is my passion. My purpose in life is to create a positive environment in the world. I love to teach children and students of any age group. I have also been associated with Brahma kumaris (World Spiritual Organisation) for 7 years. I have a profound understanding of my subjects, adeptly tailor instruction to diverse learning styles, fosters a positive and inclusive classroom environment and effective communication. I also encourages critical thinking and empower students. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of subjects to students from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I recently authored my first book, "One Light and the Angelic World," which has further enhanced my knowledge and passion for sharing knowledge with others. I oversee the Sociology teaching of 200+ GCSE and A-Level students on a daily basis. In tutoring my clients I draw on this experience to swiftly diagnose core strengths and weaknesses in both knowledge and skills, before breaking down progressive steps on how to improve. I use my comprehensive understanding of mark schemes and criteria to show clients where and how they meet Assessment Objectives (AO skills) and where they fall short. Clients are provided with a variety of resources that can be used beyond tutoring sessions to develop their skills. I also draw on my 8 years experience as a 'real-life' sociologist in helping students understand complex sociological issues and concepts.

I'm currently working as the Head of Humanities at The Bourne Academy and have been teaching Edexcel and WJEC History for over 10 years locally. I've also worked as an exam associate for Edexcel for 6 years marking summer exams. I feel that I understand the specifications for Medicine, Germany, Cold War and Elizabeth extremely well and would feel comfortable adapting my knowledge to meet the requirements for other exam board specifications.
