I am a qualified teacher with 12 years of classroom experience and over 15 years of tutoring, supporting learners from primary age through to GCSE level. I specialise in English, Science, and 11+ exam preparation, and I adapt my approach to suit each student’s unique learning style and goals.
Alongside subject tuition, I have extensive experience working with children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Online Sociology and Psychology group tuition £24 per hour for AQA A level students. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Please note: group tuition runs September to May. I am already booking students to start in SEPTEMBER 2025.
I also offer one-to-one tuition which starts from £60 per hour - I am booking students in to start in September 2025. Group tuition is only 40% of the cost of one-to-one lessons so that families on a lower budget can still access a premium tutor.

I've also been instructing on AQA Alevel Cold War and the British Empire for over 5 years and have also served as an examiner.

My passion for History drives much of who I am and consider myself a good communicator, highly motivational and proficient with one to one intervention. When I'm not teaching I love to run outdoors on hills, travel and spend time with my chocolate labrador.

I oversee the Sociology teaching of 200+ GCSE and A-Level students on a daily basis. In tutoring my clients I draw on this experience to swiftly diagnose core strengths and weaknesses in both knowledge and skills, before breaking down progressive steps on how to improve. I use my comprehensive understanding of mark schemes and criteria to show clients where and how they meet Assessment Objectives (AO skills) and where they fall short. I currently work within a acute psychiatric school which is attached to an inpatient unit in Edgware. I travel from Bedford and so am able to travel within these locations.
I carry extensive knowledge and experience surrounding mental health challenges that young people face daily.
