I teach traditional Wu family Tai Chi Chuan and am a disciple of Grandmaster Wu Kwong Yu, the current head of the family.
Private tuition and personal instruction is available as well as regular classes three nights a week at our school in Brixton.
Faeeza has over 10 years experience of teaching Infinite Tai Chi and Chi Kung along with Meditation, Stress Management and Relaxation.
She brings to her teaching a profound understanding of these ancient arts and the underlying wisdom. She has studied eastern philosophy and traditions and in particular the healing aspects of Chi Gong, having studied with the College of Chinese Medicine.
Having studied for over 5 years with Jason Chan and the Light Foundation, she learnt the Infinite style of tai chi, a flowing meditative tai chi referred to as movement in the light.
Having a Teaching Adults for Health Certificate from the City Lit which qualifies Faeeza to teach adult learners within adult education institutions. She bring to her teaching, insights and knowledge gained from many years of training in spiritual and personal development, from both Eastern and Western Traditions. She has been teaching at various centers in Chiswick, Ealing and Central London. In addition to teaching individual clients, at health clubs and undertaking corporate work helping employees learn techniques to relieve stress in the workplace. Her teaching integrates various stress management techniques utilising the wisdom and teachings of the ‘Infinite Arts’, with the intention to assist others on their path of self development and well being.

James D. is a qualified teacher (PGCE) who has been studying tai chi and qigong since 1975, and teaching since 1990. He is also a qualified acupuncturist and is the author of 3 books on tai chi. He is a member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain.

High level turuion in the principles of Taiji, using the Old Yang Frame form. Primarily teach principles, that can be applied to any martial art. Both aspects can be learnt from soft to hard, ying & Yang in solo drills to two person exercises like "pushing hands" or "chis Sau". Dim Mak pressure points, applications, reflex conditioning, Energy development, Mindfulness in everything, silk Reeling, Rooting, floating root, moving through the frame, & from the centre, conextivity, and disconneting, yielding,..how to devlop yourself into a better person. The art is not a bout fighting but rather getting to understand yourself, and therfore your ability, conflict is always a negative and not the high road. The arts teach spiritual development through physcal action, therfore untlimately buuilding self cointrol, temperance in all things and the abiltiy to discern. Body, mind spirit are integral to all internal martial arts and Taiji offers this wonderfully under a good teacher.
Chi Gong - Energy breath, mind work, static, moving, to develop the intrinsic enrgey of the body - the bio field of the body for health. 80percent of your immiune system is through the Bio Field so learning how to maintine it, heal it, strenghten it in the unforseen circumstances of ill health is key.
The balance of ying and yang, healing and martial in the art has primarily been lost but is still with a few. Energy for healing is the highest ackerlaid as its much easier to hurt than to heal,therfore as you develop spiritually the martial is a means to an end. My primary teaching is from the martial perspective, meaning, everything that is taught is with practial application in mind, not just for self defence, but for health, strong mind, developing inner peace, balance, confidence.
A good martial artist does not look like a warrior but like a human being. Not mysic in the teaching, no moving somebody with energy to see them bounce away, most of this is fake or mind enduced to the student via coin. You wont get much better teaching than what I offer, simple as that, and if your goal is to be the ultimate warrior your at the wrong place, if you want real Taiji, in application, with demonstration for the sake of learning the art and developing yourself.
