I have worked at various schools including special needs. In these organisations I have worked with young people including those on the autistic spectrum, those with behavioural learning problems and those suffering from mental health issues. I have always found it is key to strike up a good relationship with the young person, understand their problems and work with them to help them develop mentally and socially as well as helping them to gain the best outcome for themselves. I find this immensely rewarding.
I have led Maths departments at three of the schools that I have worked at. I have taught GCSE, IGCSE, GCSE Statistics and Functional Skills level 1 and 2 This entailed researching new Maths ideas including the Singapore method and the Complete Maths curriculum. Hello! I am a friendly, fun and dynamic tutor, ensuring that my lessons are bespoke to the needs of your child. All my tutoring is currently one to one, however, I am exploring the group tuition options. I tutor purely online, creating an immersive learning environment for your child to truly thrive. The lesson is run through Zoom to ensure that your child can see me and I can see them throughout the lesson.
