We have a dedicated covid secure classroom. We have an extremely comprehensive equipment store to cover all the experiments for GCSE and A level Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). This enables the students to take part in experiments which enhances their learning.
Since the lockdown, our response was to transition, virtually overnight, our teaching online. The tutor’s hands became the student’s hands and the cameras their eyes, the microphone and speakers became their voice and ears. With the power of a broadcast switcher, the student did not have one view but many, depending on what was needed. In addition, we decided to live stream tutorials on YouTube going through GCSE and A level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, topic by topic, week by week utilising all our equipment for experiments. This was to develop a resource for all not just our own students.

Furthermore I have 6 months experience as a substitute teacher and a year's experience as a TEFL teacher. I have always enjoyed Sciences, English and Urdu language and feel they have always been my greatest academic skills. Due to my passion for the subjects and great understanding, I have been able to make them simpler and easier to understand for all my fellow peers ans siblings in the past. I hope to bring these skills and passion in use with my students as well. I am happy to help children of all levels from KS1 to A-levels who are struggling or need extra motivation. I am happy to modify the class as per student needs. Depending on student specification and weak topics I can plan lessons to suit individual style of learning by either providing extra supprt and material or by going over the topic again to make it simpler and easier to understand. Through my experience in labs I will use real life examples and videos, wherever possible to help my students with their curriculum. I can teach KS1 - A-levels for science and Urdu and will provide one to one support to each student to ensure a good experience and learning I am happy to provide tuition online or from my home. As an older graduate entering the teaching profession, my recent international teaching and work experience resulted in a “eureka” moment for me. Not only have I enjoyed teaching and working with children, but I have really felt a sense of importance with the improvements and progress I have been involved in. My experience teaching in schools highlighted the lack of opportunities in life that still arise from poor education and developed a sense of advocacy in me, where my experience, personality, and drive would really make a difference in the classroom.
I have gained valuable teaching experience in both selective and non-selective schools; taught in multicultural schools as well as schools where the mother tongue was not English. I have developed excellent inter- personal and communication skills in dealing with all stakeholders within a school community; proven to be innovative where necessary in problem solving, as well as having good teamwork skills. One of my greatest attributes is in communicating with parents and being able to utilize my background, experience, and contacts within the university sector to plan a progress career path for students.
As a teacher, I use my experience, practical knowledge and leadership skills gained in industry to enable me to spearhead educational improvement through being an inspirational role model for students as well as shaping their attitudes to learning at key stages 3/4/5. I would like to develop students so that they are best prepared, both socially and educationally, for the challenges they will face on leaving school in an ever increasing and more challenging environment. I endeavour to develop exciting and engaging lessons that have at the heart of them, a sense of scientific enquiry that stimulates in students, a love for science as a subject as well as a passion for learning.
I feel it is important that students have a sense of a sense of teamwork in the classroom that arises from engagement with their peers by developing an engaging, interactive dynamic approach to learning in the classroom. I feel it is important to develop, in students, the ability to think critically inside and outside the classroom and empower students through pupil participation and leadership in lessons.
I am looking for a school that I feel fits my abilities and aspirations and where I can fit and make a real difference. I am very keen to develop my teaching by commencing my PGCE at the University of Nottingham in September 2021 (and fully intend to complete an associated master’s degree in science teaching/education immediately after). I also intend to become a chartered science teacher through the RSC as soon as possible and have already commenced associated cpd courses to facilitate this.
I believe that my empathy to students, passion for science and willingness to inspire students of all abilities would make me an outstanding candidate for the position as a compassionate, enthusiastic, and intelligent teacher. I am thoroughly committed to teaching as a career and I believe that my classroom presence, personality, coupled with my subject knowledge enables me to be a highly effective teacher. the time to consider my application and I look forward to the opportunity of discussing the position in more detail.

Excellent results were produced last year (100% pass rate, 81. 8 % level 8 or 9). Please contact to reserve a place for your child to assist his/her learning at school. It could be exam preparation, grasping basics or simply extending your child to his/her maximum ability. (A child who is capable of getting an A/A* (or level 9) achieving a B (Level 6-7 or so) is still under-performance). Each lesson is 1 hour and 30 minutes. We use diagnostic tests (FREE ASSESSMENT) to identify weak areas of students and we fix it by addressing the cause of the problem. It must be just over 20 years ago that I began what was to be an epic adventure into tutoring. It all started when a neighbour who i was in a band with, asked me to teach his daughter the piano. I had been toying with the idea of teaching but this was an opportune time to let myself in gently. As it happened, it wasnt my finest hour as it was at the very beginning of a long learning curve, made all the more difficult because she had me down as dad's mate 'uncle Dave the keyboard player' not tutor Mr www.***
But undeterred I carried on and began tutoring Maths to some GCSE students heading towards their GCSEs. All were borderline and that's in the days when exams really were about pass or fail! I worked hard at it but also being honest about my lack of experience. To my delight, all the students came away with far higher grades than they had been predicted achieving in many cases B's.
Around that time I attended a career advice interview - still unsure whether i should be straying from electronics jobs. To my surprise the lady picked up the fact i'd recently started tutoring and asked me to tutor for a tutor college she'd set up.
I taught Maths and English at Kidklubb off and on for ten years until the lady closed the school to bring up her young www.*** ;
I've taught groups, adults, special needs students but the mainstay of course has been private 1-2-1 www.*** ;
Now the advent of the virus has moved lessons online - something which i had been looking to do but lockdown has brought a renewed impetus. So now marks another chapter in my tutoring with lessons online using zoom or Google hangouts.
In my time I have achieved excellent results with students and to date I've not had one fail though of course with the new grading system that's www.*** ;
No lesson is quite the same. Every student is unique and at their own stage. That's why I dont make rules that don't exist: I tailor each lesson to suit the particular needs of the student in question. With pupils at a more advanced stage, the student may have a clear idea of what they want to get out of the lesson. Lessons can be student-driven in which case they point me to topic areas they want to cover. It may be a methodical revision over the topics in chronoligical order or targeting a topic area. It may be a matter of going over the subject matter or just doing worked www.*** ;
I usually set homework but it is the student's time and i endeavour to work around their specific requirements and circumstances.
