I have PhD in Aerospace engineering and had worked before at Pratt and Whitney Canada which is an aircraft engine manufacturer. Also, I have strong experience on online tutoring on engineering subjects, physics and maths. I can confidently explain mathematical and scientific principles and concepts using diagram and formula on digital white boards. I was also qualified by the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (PGCE). And, I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng) as a member of Institution of Mechanical Engineer (IMechE) in the UK. I have been teaching Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Dynamics, Heat Transfer in undergraduate degree program as well as Physics, Maths and Enigineering Science in Foundation program. Thus, I have both teaching experience as well as practical experience. From my strong experience I am confident on my teaching approach and able to understand well various students thoughts and needs.
Furthermore, the teaching process has to be student centered and a constant effort is required to continously improve my own teaching performance. Please feel free to contact me if you have any inquiries and you want to know more about tutoring with me.

Former teacher of Science of 11 years. Currently been tutoring for 10 years across triple science, combined science and maths. I’ve tutored over 30 students across the last 10 years with all students gaining their target or exceeding.
Upon enquiring, I can provide reviews from parents from previous tutees.
For science, I have created an extensive spreadsheet on every single exam taken since 2018 which comprehensively provides a breakdown of topics and likelyhood of those topics appearing. The link is available above. I use this information to provide specific tutoring which isn't provided by other tutors and especially schools.

I have taught Chemistry at a large Leicestershire 14-18 School for over 30 years. I have been Head of Chemistry at this school for 20 years. I teach AQA GCSE Chemistry and AQA A-Level Chemistry. I have also taught Nuffield A-Level Chemistry. I have tutored AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR and OCR(Salters) A-Level Chemistry and AQA and OCR GCSE Chemistry. I have tutored students outside of school for 26 years with much success. Many of my A-level students have achieved 100% in A-level Chemistry modules and I have tutored many GCSE students who have achieved 100% in all their GCSE modules for GCSE Chemistry. I am also a Principal Examiner for IGCSE Chemistry. I have marked both Foundation and Higher IGCSE Chemistry papers. I have been an Examiner for Singapore A-level Chemistry. Both these roles have helped me to recognise the difficulties that students have with both GCSE and A-level examination questions and the way to answer them successfully. I use this knowledge to the students advantage in my lessons. I tutor online using Skype, Zoom, Teams and FaceTime which works really well. I have had many students who have gone on to study medicine and other medical degrees. I also write multiple choice GCSE Chemistry questions for an exam board.
My approach is variable depending on the ability of the student and what they are struggling on at the time. However I believe that the practicing of past paper questions is vital for examination success. It is the attention to detail which counts in an examination and I make sure all of my students know everything in the syllabus and have practiced lots of different styles of examination question. I tutor online using Skype, Zoom, Teams and FaceTime usually texting, emailing or messaging students examination practice questions which works really well. At the moment all my tutoring is online. Please get in touch with me if you are interested. It is a very successful way of tutoring.
I tutor students from all over the world. As well as tutoring many students in the UK at the moment I tutor students in Dubai, India, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.

I am caring, nurturing teacher who is committed to making a difference to children’s lives and education. I love the make children feel comfortable and show them how they can achieve something new everyday. I believe that hard work pays off and I am here to make a difference to support children through little and big achievements. I love teaching English and Maths and would be delighted to help your child progress further in these subjects. In particular, I love practically working with children in Maths, showing how we can use visual household resources to help us with working things out! With English, I love showing children how creative we can be, including lot of different skills in writing! Learning should be fun and enjoyable and as a tutor I am here to help while making sure children are having a happy time.

I have been a part-time tutor for four years. My personality and qualities fit complementary to tutoring, developing others’ potential by sharing mine. I have assisted and tutored young students from simple intervention sessions (helping young children develop their English & Maths skills) and GCSE & A-Level students towards exams and entrance exams, bringing success into the study community.
MECHANICAL & AEROSPACE Engineering support For University students is also available"
I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. Ultimately, I aim to develop one’s self-esteem and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.
I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 24, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately. I evolved my communication competency whilst discovering the students’ difficulty and preferred revision methods, also.
I am someone who has academically succeeded highly through UK national curriculum. I have passion towards mathematics thus, I have participated and have been awarded many times for UKMT, and moreover, for Chemistry and Physics Olympiad challenges as Gold and Bronze respectively. I held responsibility as a School Ambassador and School tutoring, volunteered to be a Reader Leader who helps those who struggle reading and understanding the story with success. I aid in writing model answers for GCSE & A-Level exam questions as well. Not only am I self-disciplined and persevered but I enjoy hobbies that are based on creativity: DIY craft and art, piano, dancing, sport, ballet, balancing my work and leisure. I am also fluent in English and relatively fluent in Korean with a basic level of French language. My experiences in life, living in various different countries allowed me to interact and adapt into many different societies, overcoming many barriers. Hence, I am very approachable and developed lots of life skills.
Not only have I built responsibilities and punctuality and polished my competencies. For those who I mentor have developed their own self-esteem, confidence and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.

As a dedicated Year 1 teacher, I bring passion, care, and unwavering commitment to every aspect of my teaching. I believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment where they feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I strive daily to create a classroom atmosphere that is not only engaging and purposeful but also warm and inclusive—where children are excited to learn and proud to grow.
My teaching philosophy centres around truly knowing and understanding each individual child. I take the time to build meaningful relationships, recognising their interests, learning styles, and emotional needs. Whether it’s providing a calm, reassuring presence or delivering a challenge that sparks curiosity, I adapt my lessons to ensure that every child is supported and stretched in the right way. I am passionate about designing learning experiences that are creative, relevant, and rooted in both curriculum expectations and the unique personalities of the children I teach.
My specialism in phonics allows me to give children a strong start in their literacy journey, but my work extends far beyond this. I regularly incorporate cross-curricular links and hands-on activities that bring learning to life, helping children make connections and retain knowledge. I monitor progress closely, using both formal assessments and daily observations, to ensure my pupils are continually moving forward in their development.
While my current role is in Year 1, I also have valuable experience working with children across Key Stage 2. This broader perspective has deepened my understanding of how learning evolves over time and enables me to tailor my teaching with future progression in mind. It allows me to support not just where children are now, but where they’re heading.
At the heart of my teaching is a genuine love for helping children succeed—not just academically, but emotionally and socially too. I care deeply about the children I teach, and I never stop striving to give them the very best start. Every lesson, every interaction, and every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact, and I am proud to be a part of each child’s journey.

A fully qualified science teacher (PGCE & QTS Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Very experienced with a caring approach. A vast knowledge of teaching students with an extremely wide range of needs. My work largely involves preparing students for exams that are not on mainstream school for medical reasons. I have been teaching secondary students for 20 years in colleges both mainstream and in the independent sector. I graduated from Loughborough University in 2000 after completing a Bachelor of Science, and Post Graduate degree in Science Education. I have a website with reviews and pictures to show the work that I do. Particularly skilled in coaching and mentoring. I work for Leicestershire County Council. I build trust and confidence, which in turn allows young people to develop and obtain the results that they deserve. I provide examination notes specifically to support different exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel etc). I have been delivering practical investigations for many many years and help young people to analyse these practicals which are now a significant component of the exam board specification.
