A fully qualified science teacher (PGCE & QTS Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Very experienced with a caring approach. A vast knowledge of teaching students with an extremely wide range of needs. My work largely involves preparing students for exams that are not on mainstream school for medical reasons. I have been teaching secondary students for 20 years in colleges both mainstream and in the independent sector. I graduated from Loughborough University in 2000 after completing a Bachelor of Science, and Post Graduate degree in Science Education. I have a website with reviews and pictures to show the work that I do. Particularly skilled in coaching and mentoring. I work for Leicestershire County Council. I build trust and confidence, which in turn allows young people to develop and obtain the results that they deserve. I provide examination notes specifically to support different exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel etc). I have been delivering practical investigations for many many years and help young people to analyse these practicals which are now a significant component of the exam board specification. |
