I am currently a Medical student at Keele and a graduate from the University of Salford, achieving a 1st in my degree in Human Biology and Infectious Disease. Achieving the highest mark within my university. I was responsible for a programme known as GEMMS which is for supporting students in their medicine/dentistry applications, assisting them in interview technique and for the entrance exams.
I have mentored and tutored for 5+ years, helping students to achieve grade 9 in maths. I currently tutor Mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry for A-levels and below.
I am a fun person who particular loves his sports. Seeing the improvement and progress a child can make in a short amount of time is always the best feeling and I strive to help you achieve your goals and beyond. Sometimes having that 1 to 1 session can make all the difference in clearing up any worries about a topic.
I begin my classes by asking the student what they want to learn or discuss during the session. If they have a doubt in a concept, I will ask them to explain the same concept to me in their own words and correct them wherever necessary. I will provide some good methods to study or approach that topic. I will conclude the lesson by asking them if there is anything they would like to discuss in our next session so that I could prepare some questions in advance. I will also regularly be assessing your improvement through the use of practice papers to get an idea of where the student is at and how they can further improve. I strive to get the best out of my students.

I have a strong and deep knowledge of english literature and politics. In my politics A-level, I receieved a strong A whilst I got a B in English Literature, one mark off an A. At GCSE level, i got a 9 in English Lang and an 8 in English lit; overall, I earned five 9's, four 8's, and a 6 in German. I have a passion for novels and cultural affairs, meaning i can effectively tutor either english lit or politics. Experienced as a tutor with various age groups. Have worked with as young as Year 5 and as old as Yr 11. Now that I am studying my Economics and Finance degree at Loughborough University, I'm hoping to extend my teaching skills to A level students as well. As the tutor, I will make sure to plan every tutor session prior to the event in order to not waste any time and in return, I expect my students to complete any homework I set for them as the homework will always be based off whatever was covered in the lesson in order to strengthen their skills.
I am currently studying psychology at University of Birmingham; I will graduate summer 2025. I also volunteer as a Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) leader every week at university. This entails helping first year students with psychology coursework.
