Experienced pianist, providing tuition for all ages at pupils homes, weekdays 11am to 7pm. Have been tutoring families as well, inspiring them to learn and play four hands repertoire, as well as preparing for ABRSM exams. I'm tutoring pupils for their own pleasure or ABRSM grades, in relaxed, positive, encouraging and motivational atmosphere towards achieving better levels of performance. From classical to contemporary and popular music, the choice is yours. All that matters is having joy of playing music, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced. 12 years of experience, piano or keyboard is perfectly fine with me, what matters the most is enthusiasm and genuine desire to improve. (Germany, France) to represent my country. During my tenure abroad, I worked with various
pianists and improved my speaking English. In 2009, I was accepted to the chamber orchestra
of Nilufer Municipality and continued my chamber music and orchestral education with
Professor Hasan Adiguzelzade.
I started Bursa Uludag University Music Education Department in 2010 following my
extraordinary success in the talent examination. In 2013 Istanbul International Pera Piano

During my undergraduate and graduate education, I worked as a freelance private
piano instructor and piano accompanist in various music institutions. I have been preferred by

Pupils are taught with individual approach to everyone's needs as they study for Royal Schools of Music grades, or play purely for pleasure. I have over 30 years' experience as a piano teacher, having graduated with highest Honours Diplomas from Moscow Music Academy.
Here are some of my pupil's testimonials:
Edward
I have been going to Olga for five years now. She is a very good teacher, she is friendly and her lessons are very enjoyable. Olga always explains things to you if you do not understand them well. I like playing the piano and also the theory lessons very much. If I asked I would not like to go to any other piano teacher, as I think that Olga is the best!
Riya
I have been having lessons with Olga for about two years now, but before that, I was taught by my previous teacher till Grade 6. Once I started with Olga I realised that I lacked in basic rules and general information. Since being with Olga I have managed to fill in those gaps in my knowledge due to her teaching and I am now happily learning and improving as the weeks go on. Olga is a very good teacher and always explains things to make sure you fully understand it. Her lessons are always enjoyable and she is very friendly.
Jeremy I took Piano Lessons for 7 years as a child and continued playing to some extend for over a decade after that until recently I decided I was not at all happy with my playing and wanted to take lessons again because I felt there were huge gaps in my knowledge and technique. Fortunately, I found Olga who is hugely knowledgeable and has helped me immensely in just the few months she has been teaching me. Olga has shown me many things that I was ignorant of, which have a profound effect on the quality of the sound I can produce and the musicality of the piece I am playing. She is quick to notice when I make a mistake or my technique is slipping and provide good strategies to avoid it recurring. Olga always makes my lessons enjoyable and I would highly recommend her to anyone wishing to learn the Piano.

"The Musica Nova is a name to be held in respect by those engaged in promoting sound artistic values within youthful musical circles. The establishment bears the hallmark of excellence. Its principal, the distinguished Russian pianist and singer Eugenia Terentieva, ensures that her students enjoy tuition of the highest quality. Musica Nova deserves to attain outstanding success in the field of scholastic advancement"
Derek Leask. Music Critic, UK
Musica Nova, the International Academy of Music, is a unique bilingual establishment in the UK that combines the best of British and Russian principles of teaching and offers music lessons and complex Certificate programmes for children (starting as early as 3. 5 years old) and adults (up to advanced professional level).
It has six categories of classes geared to maximise the potential of the student in musical styles and genres as diverse as classics, jazz, pop, dance, and drama. It was founded in 2001 and is based in the London Borough of Camden, within walking distance of King’s Cross St. Pancras tube station (zone 1). Thanks to the Academy, children, teenagers and adults from all ethnic backgrounds, including the Russian-speaking community in London, are being introduced to a beautiful world of music, enabling them to develop and improve their talent and to embark on professional music activity.
Musica Nova has established partnership links with artistic management agencies, record companies and cultural institutions. Since March 2011 the Musica Nova has held membership of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) one of the major umbrella organisations in the UK joining professional teachers and musicians. In 2012 the Musica Nova took part in the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Music Education held at the Palace of Westminster. Recent documentaries about the Academy have been broadcast by the BBC, major national and international Russian TV channels and the Russian Hour programme on the Digital Sky TV channel.
Teachers
All teachers are highly qualified professional musicians with a Conservatoire education, and with vast teaching experience with legal working status in the UK. All new teachers are carefully assessed and vetted in accordance with DFES regulations and employment legislation and with the Musica Nova’s own quality control procedures.
Lessons and Curriculum
Lessons take place in soundproof studios, equipped with pianos and elegantly designed to bring a sense of intimacy and discipline to the teaching. Both one-to-one and group sessions of up to eight students, are run at the Academy to fit in with students and parent’s busy lifestyles. If requested, lessons can also take place at client’s home (within the London area) and online.
The programmes are specially designed to lead and direct students from very first steps in music to Certificate (Grades 1 – 8) and Degree programmes (Performing and Teaching Diplomas) with participation in concerts, recording projects, performances at the international festivals and competitions. The ‘Music Wonderland’ is an innovative authoring programme offered to younger students. In close collaboration with child psychologists it assists in teaching music to children with dyslexia, speech and concentration problems.
In 2014 the Musica Nova introduced new educational programmes. Free concert events and workshops popularising good quality classical and contemporary music are open for children and adults in the Camden Russian communities in London.
Exams
Every year over 200 students are successfully assessed and receive Diplomas from major national examination boards. Students continue further music education in colleges and conservatoires in the UK (Royal Academy of Music, Royal Music College, Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Cambridge and Oxford Universities) and Russia (State Conservatoire in Saint Petersburg, Gnessin Institution in Moscow).
Performances and Competitions
Students and teachers of the "Musica Nova" Academy have successfully performed in front of the members of the Royal Family, members of Parliament, politicians and celebrities.

Personal Description:
I'm a trainee Music Therapist studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, enrolled as a jazz pianist. Piano has always been my passion, achieving Grade 8 when I was only 11. Since then I have studied at Newcastle University achieving a First Degree in BA (Hons) Music before working at Oakham School as their Graduate Musician. I'm an award winning composer (NMSW Young Composer Award 2015) and an award winning performer (STAGE Edinburgh Award 2018: Timpson: The Musical) who also works extensively as an audio engineer and podcast producer. At 23 I'm a young, enthusiastic face who can offer in-face and online teaching.
Tutoring Experience:
I worked as a jazz piano tutor at Oakham School but also for early lessons in classical. Asides from this I tutored KS3 music and music theory classes up to Grade 8 ABRSM.
Tutoring Approach:
As a music therapist I have to work to try and compliment everybody's innate musicality. Because of this I can easily adapt teaching to fit the needs of the student. I am a great believer in off-the-book learning and have seen myself the benefit of taking classical skills (scales, harmony, technique) and applying them to aural learning and improvisation. I think that the piano is something that anybody can love if they have the right person to teach them that.
