Project (helping with exams, personal projects www.*** ) Planned (following a specific program to learn main sewing techniques) Guiding you through the whole process of sewing with industrial machinery and/or by hand, I will introduce you to the realisation of something of your interest! The following program is a guideline for you to get comfortable with the subject and eventually explore it further, choosing an area of your preference to focus the most on. The program includes: FABRIC COMPONENTS/HOW TO THREAD THE SEWING MACHINE SEAMS FINISHINGS/HEMS Faced Neckline and Faced Back opening Body and Bust SHIRT COLLAR SHIRT SLEEVE PLACKET AND CUFF Basic Skirt Waistband ZIPS POCKETS / garment of your choice! You will build a folder with all the different stitches on Calico Fabric, which will record all your progresses and give you the possibility to go back and check them out whenever you need. You will know the most common and used techniques from the French seam to the Pin Hem. I will guide you towards the making of a shirt Collar, different types of Pockets, basic Skirt (with waistband), basic Shirt's Sleeve and Zips. Starting from ZERO, you will develop the most common sewing techniques!

Specializing in Streetwear, Contemporary and Unisex desiging. I am a very expressive designer, I like my work to connect to my feelings and thoughts whether these are personal, generalised or specific to events that are happening around the world. My experience includes Professional tailoring and pattern cutting for Hugo Boss and Moss Bros, Merchandising High Street urban wear and footwear, working in retail, Textiles Club leader and freelance design. Studying and working in the fashion design sector I have developed a range of transferable and useful skills including pattern cutting, sewing, drawing and designing. My expertise is in Styling, Design and illustrating. Some of my greatest achievements include the launch of my first pop up brand WIA WEAR in 2021 where i designed and created a collection of clothing, including promotion and marketting over on instagram and my website which was a great success and achieved more than 100 sales in the first launch! I also took part in the TECH STARS startup weekend in 2022 where as a team we created a perfect business start up to improve the city of plymouth, and IGNITE FUTURES; an event I hosted in 2022 to an audience of businesses and students.
