I am an enthusiastic and dedicated languages teacher looking to help all those requiring language tuition in London and online.
I come from a trilingual family and have spoken Spanish, Portuguese and English since childhood. I studied languages as part of my undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds, obtaining a first class BA in History with Spanish and Portuguese.
After a decade working in law, I returned to my language roots and qualified as a languages teacher in 2018. I taught Spanish for three years to London secondary school students, focusing on GCSE and A Level exam preparation. I also worked additionally as a Portuguese GCSE speaking examiner during exam season, something which I continue to do today. In 2021, I finally decided to focus full-time on my private tutoring career as a Spanish and Portuguese language tutor.
Whether you're looking for formal public exam preparation or a tutor to practise everyday conversational skills with, I'm ready to help. My hour-long lessons are designed to be an open and encouraging space in which students can practise and improve their language skills. I work to ensure that they are fun, interactive and as light-hearted as possible while always focused intently on my students' learning needs. What sets me apart is that I tailor my sessions to each individual student's particular strengths, goals and interests to ensure maximum engagement.
I am passionate about languages and the cultures in which they are spoken. As well as helping you reach the level of proficiency you’re aiming for, I hope that my sessions will inspire you to really fall in love with Spanish and Portuguese and want to use them further in the future!

Maths tutor, with 20 years of tutoring experience. I try to find the best teaching techniques the students. Each student has is own way to learn. I pick the most efficient way to teach.
I look to enable each student to achieve what they are aiming for - whether it be the top grade at A level, GCSE or entrance to a Private Selective School at 7+, 11+ or 13+ level for the Common Entrance Examinations or else to a Grammar School of their choice or to brush up their level in English or Maths.
I am very positive in my outlook and always look to bring the best out of each student I teach. I have enabled many children to achieve their aims in over 10 years of tutoring experience.
I also run a revision course programme specialising in GCSE and A level/ IB for all subjects from Year 10 onwards.

In recent years, the Portuguese language has emerged globally as a language of business, science and culture and its importance has been highlighted in the media and in scientific studies of global impact.
I started my professional life as a drama teacher because I had completed the course of training actors at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema of the National Conservatory of Lisbon. Later, I was a teacher of French and Portuguese in several preparatory and secondary schools in Lisbon. I was a professor at the University of the Azores as well where I taught subjects in the area of Sociology. Finally, I returned to primary and secondary education and I have been teaching Portuguese, History and Geography of Portugal. As I have lived in an area where there are many foreigners, I have also helped them to learn Portuguese.
