I have got over 22 years industry experience in the Hospitality industry and over 6 years teaching experience specialising in GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition and L1/2 Hospitality and Catering. I have also worked as an NVQ assessor for hospitality apprenticeships. Also willing to offer cookery skills workshops or sessions for KS2 pupils.
Fell In love with cooking at a very young age,
my grandfather was a great influence on the man I am today, started my journey as a young 13 year old pot washer in a 2 rosette standard hotel kitchen, studied for 4 years in the local
college to earn my NVQ and VRQ Level 3,
Got my first head chefs job at 19 years old, currently head chef of that very same establishment after 7 years away learning as much as I could,
cooking is my passion, and love to inspire and help the new generation of Chefs coming through, helping people is an honor, message me any questions you might have,

I have a B Ed Hons Degree in Home Economics (teaching studies)
I have been a food and nutrition teacher for over 30 years including an 8 year break to raise my 2 sons.
I am a skilled cook and really enjoy helping others to learn key cookery skills and make a range of delicious dishes.
I can teach you to cook according to your age and culinary experience. There is nothing more rewarding than preparing food for yourself and others to enjoy.
I have taught GCSE Food preparation and nutrition in schools for many years and am up to date with the requirements for the practical and theory aspects of the NEA1 and NEA2 coursework projects which students complete during Y11.
I can therefore provide:
Practical Cooking skills for individuals or up to 3 in my newly fitted kitchen at home. This could be any age children or adults.
Online lessons in cookery via Teams or Zoom.
Online Help with NEA1 and NEA2 coursework projects
I am currently a Teaching Partner in the Primary Sector.
I have experience in supporting teaching and leading classes across all year groups in the primary sector, including EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
I have previous experience lecturing Further Education students and am currently working in a Communication & Interaction Centre, supporting children with a range of additional needs steming from Autism, ADHD, Global Delay and Attachment Disorders.
I would be happy to provide my services for free to support parents at this time.
