I can teach Maths and English up to KS3. I have, over the years, acquired various strengths and strategies of driving children's learning. I know the importance of teaching children information in small chunks and I am always mindful of the effects and dangers of cognitive overload. I am constantly researching to make sure that my teaching always incorporate new research findings and ensure that children succeed and even excel beyond expectations. I can differentiate work and always allow children to start from what they already know and progress into the unknown with confidence and a positive growth mindset.
