Experienced teacher with a proven track record of successfully supporting students to improve and make progress both at GCSE and A level History. Specialises in US, Korea/Vietnam, Norman England and Migration units at GCSE - former examiner - and Unit 2R Cold War at A level. Until recently I was a Head of RS, and am an experienced GCSE & A level tutor. I'm an examiner for GCSE RS, with an outstanding track record of results for my classes; I have also completed examiner training for A level RS. I am an experienced tutor for the 13+ TPR scholarship papers, with success in tutoring Y8 students for top schools. I offer support to young people for all types of entry to Senior Schools, and University preparation to study Theology.
I am also a qualified Careers Advisor, holding the Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development; additionally I have a Life Coaching NVQ. I am a Leader for Science at a mixed school in Northamptonshire where I teach all three sciences at KS3 and GCSE, I also teach Physics at A-Level. I have a full DBS check, which can be made available upon request.

I have been tutoring individual pupils from a variety of backgrounds and abilities for nearly a decade now. I have also been teaching GCSE, A-Level, and Year 9 history since 2013-14, and have an outstanding track record in terms of results. Approximately 90% of the students I have taught at GCSE level have achieved a 7-9 grade, and I have had pupils achieve places at Oxbridge to read History within the last two years. I have excellent technical knowledge of exam preparation and essay or source paper questions, and am especially familiar with content involving the crusades (1099-1204), Russia 1894-1924, International Relations 1919-1990, and Germany 1918-45. That being said, I am willing to work on content from any time period, and with pupils of any ability or age level. My particular strength lies in the passion that I have for my subject, and my primary aim is to inspire pupils with a love for the subject.
Outside of the classroom I have led or been involved with student trips to Berlin, Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg), and the battlefields of France and Belgium. Dr Atamgba A. is an accomplished university teacher with a rich interdisciplinary academic experience in Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition as well as Chemistry. He has taught various aspects of Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition, and Chemistry (both inorganic and organic). With over a decade of teaching and research, he has worked in various university environments, both public and private, across Nigeria and Uganda. Dr A. is known for his participatory teaching approach and effective use of various analytical tools. He has been an External Examiner both at the ordinary level (O-level)and university level. He also has significant industrial experience in vegetable oil and oily waste servicing industries, working in various capacities from Research and Development Chemist, overseeing the quality control unit to a Lead / Senior Operator of a Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU) plant used for the remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated oily wastes. His Industrial experience adds practical insights to his academic expertise. His educational background includes a strong proficiency in the Russian language, gained during his studies in Ukraine. Dr A. has held various administrative roles such as Head of Department and Dean of Faculty, demonstrating his leadership and versatility in adapting to new academic trends.

I'm a swiss woman that loves the German language. I love to write poems, letters and texts. I have already published my poetry in Germany and won the 3rd place in a competition there. I like to help people and I speak German, English, Italian and French.

I plan lots of practice and educational activities during the lessons to make the study process more interesting. I also make sure we revise the mistakes made by the student as it is very important to analyze and understand what to fix and where we are moving next!
My main goal as a Teacher is to teach you English till the point when you can be fluent and confident in speaking English.
