I specialise in maths, biology, chemistry, physics, and medical subjects, and I love breaking down tricky concepts into simple, understandable parts. Whether you're struggling with your coursework or want to boost your grades, I'm here to help.

I am a qualified and passionate primary school teacher. I have experience teaching and tutoring across Key Stage 1 and 2. I love teaching, building positive relationships and making learning fun and accessible to everyone. Every child deserves the best start in life. I provide support across all of primary school across subjects as well as specific support in year 6 SATs, phonics, 11+ entrance exams, and SEN support. I tailor sessions to meet the exact needs. I have taught and tutored children with a range of educational needs such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, processing speed, autism and much more. I am currently studying for my Masters in Education at Leicester University and I am also training to become a specialist Dyslexia teacher. I currently offer sessions outside of school hours. From August 2025 onwards I will also be offering daytime tuition, perfect for home schoolers.
My main experience is in KS2 (Years 4, 5 and 6) but am qualified for the whole Primary age range, 5- 11 years. In my experience as a Teacher, I have taught children with Dyslexia, children with Autism, children with Aspergers, children with social and emotional needs and looked after children.
My approach is very child centered. I look at celebrating the positives first and then gradually working through the harder bits, all at the child's pace, with a view to plugging any gaps so the child can celebrate success in their learning.
I teach in many different ways to appeal to the different learning styles (auditory, visual and kinaesthetic) and believe it is important to give the child a meaningful context to their learning (i. e relate it to everyday life).

I have been teaching since 2006 as a Primary School Teacher and have been very fortunate and lucky to have worked at a range of schools.
I have taught in outstanding schools, that have been satisfactory or required improvement and faith schools. I have taught as a classroom teacher in KS1 and KS2. I have experience of both phonics assessment and SATS experience. The bulk of my career has been teaching in London schools and more recently I have taught in schools in Leicestershire, Derby and Nottingham. In all schools I have worked in, my lessons have been judged ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’.
It has been a valuable teaching experience which has certainly shaped my professional outlook and provided me with a rich insight into what you can achieve with children. This has allowed me to to develop into a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. I am able to plan, assess, reflect and adapt my teaching to ensure that all children have a challenging and enjoyable experience and make excellent progress.
Lesson observations of my teaching have highlight how children are enthusiastic, engaged, eager to learn and are confident when attempting tasks. Tasks are differentiated for all abilities and especially the higher ability who need to be stretched continually. I encourage children to become independent by trying their best, keep trying and never give up. I have found children to have become resilient and not afraid of tackling new concepts or new challenges.

As an ambassador for education and diversity, I am proud to offer over five years of teaching experience, with my pedagogy and teaching being recently recognised by Ofsted as outstanding. During this time, I have been responsible for curriculum leadership and developing stimulating and academically enriching lessons through effective pedagogical practice; supporting a diverse cohort of children from all backgrounds. For me, as a certified life coach and educator, I believe in creating a safe space where each child can thrive and develop a sense of self-confidence whilst gaining a foundation of skills to support them both in school and out.
I am an experienced teacher, with great bank of resources to suit all needs. I was marking GCSE papers and have got an insight into what is expected from a candidate writing all Maths papers.
I can provide good quality examples and exercises for any topics for KS3 students and papers for GCSE preparation (Foundation and Higher).

I enjoy using my QTS to help people learn new skills which will enhance their lives. This may be to improve their ability in maths., their employment prospects or their ICT skills. In all cases, the teaching I provide may improve their quality of life.
My teaching philosophy is to try to spark interest in learners whilst retaining a clear goal: whether that be exam. success or a less formal, personal achievement. My substantial experience has been gained by working with primary, secondary school pupils and adults.
