I am very excited to tutor, having three A*s in my A-Levels and 9s in my GCSEs - I can pass on my learning and give aid with homework, revision, and teach from scratch.
With seven years' experience of teaching and tutoring Classics in a variety of contexts, I am a kind and knowledgeable tutor, who sets high standards of her tutees. I tailor my tuition to each individual person's needs and interests, making learning interesting, challenging and fun.

I hold an MA in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge. I have taught in Senior Schools and Sixth Form Colleges since completing my PGCE (also Cambridge) 20 years ago. Until recently I was a Head of RS, and am an experienced GCSE & A level tutor. I am an enthusiastic fully qualified teacher and enhanced DBS with a genuine passion for my subject and I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment by adopting a variety of teaching approaches. I aspire to motivate my students to achieve the best possible outcomes, regardless of ability, background or SEN status and particularly have experience of stretching and challenging the more able pupils.
I have taught at Queen Elizabeth School, Barnet, ranked as the top state school in the country, for the last 4 years including guiding many Oxbridge physics, natural sciences, medicine and engineering candidates. I have a degree in Automotive Engineering and a PhD in Racecar Aerodynamics both from Loughborough University, where I also taught undergraduate modules in Statics & Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Low Speed Aerodynamic, Ground Vehicle Aerodynamics and CAD. Prior to completing my PGCE I was a research engineer developing hydrogen fuel cell technology for a range of clean technology applications.
I have recently moved from London to Nottingham with my family and am available for tutoring of Science (KS3) and Physics (GCSE and A Level) online or in person.
I studied classical vocal technique for 15 years with Howard Milner, and supplemented this with private language training (French and Russian), repertoire coaching with Floral Opera, Summer International Summer Music school (four years) and further training with Jeffrey Talbot and Neil Howlett. I worked as Area Leader for Sing Up in Lincolnshire and am currently the visiting singing teacher for a large secondary academy in Nottingham as well as being a vocal tutor at University of Lincoln. I have performed in professional opera companies in the UK, and performed recitals and gala concerts throughout the UK and in Northern Italy. I teach classical styles, as well as music theatre, jazz, folk, pop/rock.
I graduated a with a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Birmingham, and can tutor chemistry, physics and mathematics in addition to music.

Dr Atamgba A. is an accomplished university teacher with a rich interdisciplinary academic experience in Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition as well as Chemistry. With over a decade of teaching and research, he has worked in various university environments, both public and private, across Nigeria and Uganda. Dr A. is known for his participatory teaching approach and effective use of various analytical tools. He has been an External Examiner both at the ordinary level (O-level)and university level. He also has significant industrial experience in vegetable oil and oily waste servicing industries, working in various capacities from Research and Development Chemist, overseeing the quality control unit to a Lead / Senior Operator of a Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU) plant used for the remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated oily wastes. His Industrial experience adds practical insights to his academic expertise. His educational background includes a strong proficiency in the Russian language, gained during his studies in Ukraine. Dr A. has held various administrative roles such as Head of Department and Dean of Faculty, demonstrating his leadership and versatility in adapting to new academic trends.
Working in secondary school almost 17 years (local school and overseas) granted me valuable opportunities to teach a variety of courses, including EAL English, Business Studies, Liberal Studies (Humanities), Economics, Geography and Integrated Business. Among the most satisfying experiences for me as a teacher has been instructing student to understand, analyze and practice their knowledge properly and successfully.
Through my teaching thus far, I have found the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching.

I have a passion for Art and Design and it's History, but mainly in Modern Art and Design History.

I love learning and want to instill my passion for education to others. I plan my lessons so that the learner is active and try and make them as creative as possible. My ultimate goal is for the learner to love the subjects and want to learn more about them outside of the 'class'.
