I enjoy using my QTS to help people learn new skills which will enhance their lives. This may be to improve their ability in maths., their employment prospects or their ICT skills. In all cases, the teaching I provide may improve their quality of life. My teaching philosophy is to try to spark interest in learners whilst retaining a clear goal: whether that be exam. success or a less formal, personal achievement. My substantial experience has been gained by working with primary, secondary school pupils and adults. Some of these learners have presented with special educational needs to which I have been able to adapt. Away from work, I am a keen cyclist, walker and photographer. |
