I am a highly experienced and enthusiastic tutor to students up to 18 years of age with a Masters in Education and responsibility for tutoring and assessing newly qualified teachers. I have taught in schools as a senior leader for over 20 years and have been an examiner for the Edexcel and AQA exam boards for over 15 years. I pride myself in delivering personalised learning programmes to all of my students and ensure that all work completed is awarded with the highest level of written and verbal feedback. My lessons are always well resourced and are matched to the student's abilities and interests to make them challenging, engaging and enjoyable. I am very professional but also have an excellent rapport with my students. I tailor lessons to each individual and deliver them in a warm, encouraging and friendly manner whilst maintaining the highest expectations of all my tutees.

I have taught students of all abilities in mainstream and private schools in Yorkshire and Kent since 2004.
Previously a school leader of literacy projects, Gifted and Talented Co-ordination and a Head of History. Within formal education settings, I am trained and experienced in teaching English and Humanities up to A-Level and Maths and Science up to GCSE.

I have taught students who have been fortunate enough to get into the top universities in the UK as well as overseas. I have a good rapport with students and relish any challenge.
I am a qualified Teacher trained in the UK with 25 years’ teaching experience across a variety of ages and stages within the state school system. I particularly trained as a language specialist working throughout schools supporting my colleagues as an ELP (Early and Primary Language Professional). I have as a result of my accountancy training and additional post graduate learning developed an acute knowledge and awareness of mathematical foundations (that develop mathematical reasoning) and methodology, which I use to further my students mathematical excellence. I pride myself on my ability to identify and resolve students' difficulties, helping them to 'get unstuck' by teaching them the missing skills they need to become competent, independent and enthusiastic learners. Whatever their starting point, I can support them in their journey by providing them with the necessary tools to get them where they want to be. I am additionally an experienced Tutor who has been tutoring both face to face and online closing gaps in children’s learning by ensuring their foundational learning is intact and moving their learning forward so that if their goal is to take independent schools tests or the 11 plus they have the tools to do so.
Additionally I have for the past 2 years been teaching ESL/ESOL, supporting all ages and stages to pass their English Language tests (as well as maths), including Functional Skills and Cambridge tests.

I can guide you throughout the entire interior design project from the initial stage to the completion or I can help you with any particular stage of the project. I am a professional drummer and teacher. I'm very passionate about teaching and all things music! I have been teaching all ability levels from absolute beginner right through to professional players for over ten years, and have had students from 6 years old, to 66 years old! I've also performed drum clinics/seminars through the UK and internationally demonstrating my approach to technique and musicality on the drum kit. Each lesson is tailored to suit the individual needs and wants of the student. I pride myself on being able to adapt to different learning styles and quickly identifying particular strengths and weaknesses of the student and then put into place a plan to help them work through these in a fun and efficient way. I cover all techniques and styles in my lessons. The lessons are relaxed and fun with a real focus on music! As a player I have been lucky enough to perform at drum shows and festivals all over the world and have performed at drum shows alongside Simon Phillips, Tony Royster Jr, Steve Ferrone, Damien Schmidt, Larnel Lewis, Thomas Pridgen and many many more. In addition to this, I have held drum clinics in The Netherlands, Germany, Prague, Belgium, France, and the UK. As a professional drummer in the UK, I regularly record for artists from all over the world from my purpose built home-studio, have played in London West End shows and toured throughout the UK and internationally with live acts.
