I am a qualified Teacher trained in the UK with 25 years’ teaching experience across a variety of ages and stages within the state school system. I particularly trained as a language specialist working throughout schools supporting my colleagues as an ELP (Early and Primary Language Professional). I have as a result of my accountancy training and additional post graduate learning developed an acute knowledge and awareness of mathematical foundations (that develop mathematical reasoning) and methodology, which I use to further my students mathematical excellence. I am additionally an experienced Tutor who has been tutoring both face to face and online closing gaps in children’s learning by ensuring their foundational learning is intact and moving their learning forward so that if their goal is to take independent schools tests or the 11 plus they have the tools to do so.
Additionally I have for the past 2 years been teaching ESL/ESOL, supporting all ages and stages to pass their English Language tests (as well as maths), including Functional Skills and Cambridge tests.
