I am an experienced fully qualified primary and secondary (grammar) school teacher specialising in the eleven plus (GL, CEM, independent schools) as well as the Kent and Medway tests, and science up to KS3. If you are interested in tuition from September 2023, please do get in contact soon as places are limited and do get filled up quickly. One-off initial lessons are very welcome. I work hard to get to know every child as an individual and to develop an understanding of what makes them feel happy and secure in their learning. I welcome children of all abilities and have good experience of working successfully with children with ADHD, ASD, Down`s syndrome, behavioural and emotional difficulties, dyslexia and dyscalculia.

I have several years experience working with children and have recently completed my PGCE in primary education but have tutored some children at secondary school age who have additional needs. I have experience in working with special needs, especially autism.
I adapt my style of teaching to each child and will do an assessment at the start of each new booking. I can then tailor the learning to the child and fill in any missing gaps.
Lessons can be done online at the moment and once safe to do so, can take place at my house or at Deal Library.
