I am an experienced teacher of languages and a native speaker of Spanish. I am also fluent in French, which I have taught up to GCSE. Prior to developing a career in teaching, I worked as a professional translator. I continue working as a Secondary School Languages Teacher and a Freelance Translator. I have an excellent record of academic results and consistent progress across all Key Stages. My GCSE results have always been good to outstanding, ranging from 82 to 100% on former grading A* to C and 9-4 in current GCSE gradings with groups of various abilities. I have 100% success rate with A level Groups. I always strive to deliver lessons that are engaging, and which develop independence and confidence, as these are essential skills in the development of language learning. I am also an External Examiner for the Speaking and Writing Papers with one of the main examination boards. I am currently certified as an Examiner for the DELE (Diploma como Español Lengua Extranjera) with the Instituto Cervantes for levels A1-A2 and B1-B2. |
