I obtained my Master's Degree in Contemporary China Studies in 2011. Since then, I have been working as a Chinese Teacher after completing my Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at SOAS, University of London. Over the past 5 years, I have taught Chinese Language in various settings including international schools, tutoring centres, and online classrooms.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have also been involved in Chinese writing work such as journalism, editing, and public relations for over 15 years. My students come from diverse backgrounds and work for global corporations. I adapt my teaching approach according to their individual backgrounds and help them utilize their strengths to acquire knowledge effectively.
I believe that each student has a unique learning style, and one-on-one instruction allows for full attention and effective knowledge acquisition. I have experience teaching various curricula such as IB MYP, IBDP, Language B, AB Initio, and Mandarin/Cantonese GCSE/IGCSE (First Language/Second Language/Foreign Language), specifically focusing on learning Chinese as a foreign language, whether it's Mandarin or Cantonese."
