Biochemistry Tutor, Teacher
I am a Biochemistry professional, having studied at the University of Oxford, and graduated with a Masters degree in molecular and cellular biochemistry. I have solid background (7 years experience) with chemistry (organic, inorganic, physical) and biochemistry for both A-levels and University level.
My preferred method of tutoring is the Oxford tutorial method, that works via questions that aim to develop critical thinking skills in the student, and an ability to follow a line of reason from scratch building-up to complex arguments. This is especially useful in dealing with the more complex questions set by the exams, requiring proofs and a solid inference pattern.
I have taught more than 50 students in the past in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics and Maths, as well being the personal tutor of 3 students that wanted training for the Oxford University interviews, 2 of which have got in, both reading for Biochemistry as a choice of degree.
I have seven years experience tutoring one on one in STEM subjects from GCSE, A-levels all the way through to Graduate degree level.

I try and keep my lessons engaging, using past papers, online resources, videos, anything that the client may need. Everyone learns in different ways. I really do pride myself on being able to explain complex topics in the simplest terms, making science relatable and accessible to every student. I adore the subject and it certainly shows in my teaching.
Alongside teaching to each GCSE or A-Level syllabus, I am also always reading the latest popular science books, or watching the most current documentaries on TV, so I love talking around the subject with my students, relating their learning to what is happening in the real world.
I have tutored for many years, amassing the following:
GCSE and iGCSE Chemistry, Biology and Physics (on all syallabus') (5 years) GCSE Maths (2 years) A Level Chemistry (Edexcel) (2 years) A Level Biology (Edexcel and AQA) (2 years)
Mock Interviewer (Oxbridge Applications) - 3 years Workshop Leader - Biological Natural Sciences - 6 months Biology and Biochemistry mentor for University admission - 4 regular clients - 6 months
When I'm not tutoring, I'm a creative, working in TV as a writer and theatre as a performer.

My name is Kat, I completed my BSc Biochemistry at Imperial College London and MSc at the London School of Economics. I have a wide range of hobbies which include music and art. My indulgence in my hobbies, however, did not prevent me from distinguishing myself academically. I want my students to understand and learn in an efficient albeit enjoyable way. Biology, Chemistry, Maths I enjoy teaching and have been a tutor for 7+ years. I teach Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I care about students, and I wish that they could learn to love Science and Maths as I do. To achieve the high goals I set for my students, I require the cooperation of the student and a change in attitude. I believe that everyone is capable of getting an A*/9 in any subject, as long as they are dedicated to achieving that goal. I am very experienced in boosting exam grades and there are numerous success stories.
Every student is different, as such, I tailor my teaching methods to each individual student. I put emphasis on encouraging students, cultivating their natural interest and understanding of the subjects they chose to take. I have found this approach to be more effective in building confidence in students, motivating them, and in realizing their full potential - all of which are key to exam success.

I am an experienced and passionate teacher and tutor for 9 years. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience! I use different techniques and strategies to keep students engaged and maximize the progress of learning at their own paces. I motivate students to surpass their potentials. I offer tailored teaching as I know each student is different. I visualize the problems and use analogies to make them easier for students to understand. I have wide horizons, I was studying also materials engineering and linguistics and I'm fascinated about technology&programming&sciences and history&culture&geography. I graduated from Molecular Biophysics (Bachelor) and now I am studying Bioinformatics and Biology of the Systems (Masters).
A positive atmosphere in classes is very important for me.
I hope to meet you in the class/session!

Hey there, I'm Mustafa and I am an experienced GCSE / O Level / IGCSE / AQA / SAT / MCAT Biology tutor. I'm also proficient in teaching biological sciences subjects (Physiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, bioinformatics, immunology, Chemistry) I can teach any age group between (6-25. Biology is a subject I really enjoy teaching and I consider myself quite good at it as I go into the depth while discussing a particular topic so that the concept is embedded and solidified in my student's mind forever. I have over 5 years of teaching experience as I have taught many medical and IB, IGCSE, A levels and O level students. My students range from Elementary school up to the High school, SSC/Matric and HSSC/Intermediate/FSc level. My teaching strategies include: 1)Animated video tutorials 2)Catchy mnemonics 3) Practice sheets 4) Interactive Quizzes 5) PowerPoint Slides suited to the level, the need and the learning style of a student. I avoid conventional methods of memorizing the content or cramming. So, if you are having a problem with anything related to Science or Biology, hit me up. Book a trial lesson with me, so we can discuss your goals and how I can help you to reach them.
