Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read my page. I am an experienced Primary School teacher. I have been working in inner city Birmingham for 10 years. I currently teach year 2, so I am able to support children preparing for their year two SATs and phonics screening check in year 1. I spent two years teaching year 1 and seven years teaching Reception. Early reading and writing is a specialism of mine, along with teaching phonics and spelling, working with children who have English as an additional language and children with special educational needs. I like to make learning as fun and as practical as possible to ensure that children are engaged and enjoy what they are doing.
