Hello! I am a kind and approachable Primary school teacher who loves working with children of all ages. I have worked across the state and private sector, working in OFSTED Outstanding schools. I therefore, have the latest up to date teaching practise at the forefront of my mind and am confident in planning and delivering high quality lessons. I believe children should enjoy learning to reach their full potential and therefore, I try to capture the interests of children within my teaching to promote a love for learning. I am encouraging in nature and love to make children feel confident and that they can achieve. I believe in retrieving prior knowledge to recall what children already know and then build on new knowledge through effective teaching strategies. Due to being a teacher who regularly provides 'catch up' sessions, I know how to plug any gaps in knowledge to ensure a child is not falling behind the expected level for their age. I also understand how to effectively challenge children, allowing them to think of more abstract concepts. I offer online sessions in Phonics, English (Reading and Writing) and Maths, encompassing the whole of the Primary National Curriculum. Lessons with me are fun, engaging and interactive! |
