Award-winning Online Maths Tutor by NTP (UK) , helping students develop independence, motivation towards learning maths and conceptual understanding.
I am a maths teacher in a popular school in the UK with an MSc in Engineering, and experience in teaching secondary and primary students over physical and online settings.
I believe in student-centered maths learning with independence. I already have experience in assessing students' onboarding and selecting the support plans at ''Global Edtech''. Moreover, I have also worked on SENs (dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism) students that will support this role. I always encourage my students to have a conceptual understanding over the procedural understanding, this would definitely encourage students for their effort, and hence each student will get their own motivation, thus having room for development as well. Having learned different pedagogies of maths learning, I believe I would be a good fit with the strong maths understanding and the experience.

I am a confident, outgoing and experienced science teacher specialising in biology. I am also confident in chemistry and physics. I currently teach KS3, GCSE and A-level biology students following the AQA exam board, I am also confident teaching Edexcel and OCR.
I strive to make all of science accessible and enjoyable for students, relating topics to real life, and working through areas student find tough until it clicks for them.
My aim with tutoring is to spend the time with a student, understanding their barriers and working on any area that they need as much as they need until they feel more happy with it. I am fully aware that science can be a barrier for some students and I aim to make the subjects more engaging and approachable. This knowledge and understanding can then be built on using exam questions to cement their understanding and hopefully it is then embedded ready for exams. Looking over exam questions is the best form of revision, but it also is a way to show students how similar questions are year and year and hopefully remove some of fear surrounding GCSEs.
I am a teacher who prides herself on building positive relationships with students, both in the classroom and as a form teacher. I believe these positive relationships are the best way for students to feel confident in their own abilities and bring out the belief that they can do anything.
I have experience in teaching (and tutoring) Years 7-11 in all sciences - Biology, Chemistry, Physics. I offer GCSE tutoring in all three subjects, as well as the combined science GCSE. My specialism is in Biology, and I teach and tutor Biology AS and A level. I have experience in tutoring failing students to help them pass their exams, with quite a few achieving average or above average. My exprience has allowed me to build positive relationships with them, know when to push them, help their confidence and see them shine.
I bring a wealth of experience and resources to my tutoring, which has consistently helped students grasp even the most challenging concepts—especially those they’ve previously struggled with. I tailor my approach based on each student's needs, which may include:
Reviewing key topic knowledge, supported by mini assessments and regular exam-style homework
Developing exam techniques through practice papers and strategies for answering different question types
Providing focused knowledge reinforcement
Teaching effective revision strategies
I have experience teaching GCSE Science across the EdExcel, AQA, and OCR exam boards, and I also teach A-level Biology with a focus on the AQA specification. In addition, I have worked as an exam marker for AQA Biology and Chemistry, which has given me valuable insight into the specific skills, techniques, and language students need to master in order to achieve full marks in exam questions.
All of my students who have worked with me for five months or more have improved by at least two grades above their starting level. The minimum improvement I’ve seen is a one-grade increase for all students.

Hello, I'm Liam and I am a primary school teacher currently teaching in Nottinghamshire. I have nearly a decade of experience and have taught all across the primary age range (5-11). Throughout my career, I have taught in various schools and to various groups of children with a wide range of abilities and needs. During COVID, teaching moved to online so I am well-versed in teaching via Teams/Zoom and using resources in creative ways to engage learners. All of my qualifications are available for you to see and I am required to have an up-to-date DBS (CRB) certificate as a part of my job in school. I offer 1:1 tutoring online to allow me to reach students nationally and this covers the primary curriculum and homework help. I am more than happy to tailor the content of lessons to mirror what is currently being taught in school. This will help ensure that learning is current and can help close any potential gaps from current learning in school.
Please get in touch if you want to chat more about your child's learning and how I can help them.

In our tutoring sessions you as an individual learner will be focused on. Ideally sessions will be student-led, where learners raise questions to signify where they are struggling, what gaps in knowledge there are, and what interests they have at heart. From here further sessions will build on past ones, risk-taking and competetive learning exercises will be used to motivate and support the learner. Long discourse can be vital for solidifying knowledge, and allowing one to have an insight into their own thinking processes, supporting comprehensive learning as opposed to just blocks of facts floating in one's head. As a student myself over 8 years ago, it was after hours at A-level and university where it would be me and a professor discussing ideas, and me proposing issues in the learning, highlighting gaps in my previous knowledge, that supported me the most to be able to move unto the next level. It is this opportunity that I wish to provide to future students
I am a DBS certified teacher with a PGCE and QTS as a Teacher of Science, this masters was obtained a year after completing my Bachelors in Science for Physics w/Philosphy. I love science, maths and philosophy and find weaving all three together quite essential for developing and making interesting these areas of study.
Sessions can take place online or a designated place, there is always a free first session to see allow each other to understand how we may work together. And if any questions are needed beforehand, please do get in touch.

Targeted for GCSE French students. My lessons tailor to individual learning needs of my students within the 4 language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Attention will also be given to pronunciation, an aspect that school children need much chance to work on. Objectives are to strengthen their base while filling in gaps in their knowledge. Lessons will be injected with extra material on language knowledge and interest facts on French cultural to liven the study.
I worked in schools for more than 20 years. Apart from being a subject teacher I also run an in-school language centre. Finding out students' ability and catering to their learning needs is my strength. I love to see them overcoming obstacles and excel in their study. It is part of the things that sustains my passion in teaching.
