I am a very dedicated teacher who specialises in biology but am confident in all three sciences.
I aim to make learning as engaging as possible for all abilities.
I think that my enthusiasm for the subject comes across in my teaching, especially in a one to one setting.
I currently use the AQA specification but am very familiar with Edexcel also.
I love teaching and I love tutoring as it allows more focus on specific areas as well as identifying the child’s areas of strength and weakness.

I completed my secondary science PGCE in 2015. I am a Biology specialist, however, I have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching in all three sciences. I am also highly adaptable. I have taught across key stage 3 and key stage 4, including year 11 groups who I taught physics, chemistry and biology. I have been included in general CPD in schools and also in departmental moderation of marking across GCSE. I refuse to believe that any student cannot succeed in a subject, especially something as versatile and flexible as science and maths, there is always a way to get through to any student. While this is more of a personal belief, I have yet to see anything to the contrary. I have been involved with extra-curricular activities; film club, lunch and break duties, corridor patrols and form activities. I have also received weekly training sessions by specialists in school on teaching both SEN and EAL students and improving my own pedagogy.
I have experience in teaching science subjects from Maths, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. But I have taught Biology and Chemistry for a longer period because my major discipline at both www.*** and www.*** level was Physiology, which gives me an in depth understanding of how the human body functions normally. I am Chartered Rocket Scientist Engineer (CEng) graduated from Swansea university in Aerospace engineering and I have also got HND in Automotive Engineering. I got first class degree from there. I have passion for teaching others especially Maths, English, Physics and Chemistry and Biology up to university level.
First we complete free assessment with the students and discuss their weak points and then we make a plan together so we have a focus point to work towards.
