I am a well qualified and experienced teacher of Modern Foreign & Classical Languages with over 30 years experience teaching in local State and Independent Schools and in adult and further education colleges. I have taught French, German, Spanish, Italian, Classics and Latin from Key Stage 3 through to A- Level and am a GCSE examiner for the Pearson Edexcel exam board. I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
In my lessons, my goal is to teach you, with fun, humour and encouragement, how to use language confidently in listening, speaking, reading and writing and of course backing this up with a very sound knowledge of those building blocks called grammar. In Latin, the grammar based language study is backed up with a fun and detailed look at the historical period and the set texts. We all have differing learning needs and goals which are worked out well in advance of the first lesson so that the approach is tailor made for you so that you ultimately find the learning experience a rewarding and enjoyable one. When teaching , I use my experience of being an examiner to show you what the exam paper is really asking for and how you can ensure you get the marks and ,quite easily, exceed target. Just ask any of my former pupils! I am very friendly, patient and approachable, always encouraging with a strong belief that bit by bit you will succeed in whichever goal you have made for yourself?
I am really looking forward to meeting you all soon and helping you with your studies.

I have over 8 years experience in teaching the primary age range in the state education sector.
I am extremely knowledgeable in the National curriculum, planning, delivering and assessing your child's ability. I will take an initial assessment to see where they are in their learning - their strengths and areas they need to develop and create a personalised program for them to progress at that right speed for them as an individual.
I have used many different programs in my career such as Mastery maths, White Rose maths, FFT phonics and Little Wandle as well as creating my own activities
I enjoy making lessons creative and with real life contexts so that the children can see the purpose for their learning ready for when they enter the adult world. I like to keep the lessons at a good pace to maximise their concentration and focus. A good light hearted sense of humor with positive encouragement is the approach I find works best for when I tutor to provide the child with self-esteem and confidence in themselves.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a qualified SENCo with vast experience working in mainstream and independent schools across Hampshire and Portsmouth Local Authorities. I am a qualified Specialist Dyslexia Teacher with a number of qualifications in teaching pupils with dyscalculia and numeracy difficulties. Currently, I am studying for a Level 7 qualification in Dyscalculia assessing and teaching, this will consolidate the years of teaching pupils with dyscalculia and dyslexia in a specialist department. My special needs experience extends to the opening of an Autism and Mental Health provision alongside the managing of a dyslexia and dyscalculia provision. I have worked closely with the Local Authorities to support families through the Education Health and Care Plan application process with much success.
Originally, I started out as a music teacher within primary settings until my passion for supporting pupils with additional needs rose up and inspired me to take my initial SEN qualification through training in recognising and teaching Dyslexia and literacy difficulties. From this there was no looking back! I went on to work as a Special Needs Coordinator in three schools across Hampshire and Portsmouth supporting all age groups from 2-16 achieving the National SENCo qualification; later working on my passion for the lesser known Specific Learning Difficulties of Dyscalculia.
My greatest joy and education has come from the adoption of my three children where I have taken extensive training in attachment and trauma informed practice, NVR, therapeutic parenting and the use of PACE. I have first hand knowledge and experience of living and working with autistic individuals and celebrating Neurodiversity in her family life. Anne knows first hand the difficulties of navigating the school SEN systems as a parent and this experience can never be measured but leads to a greater understanding and providing advocacy for parents and pupils alike.

In recent years there has been a huge growth in the number of agencies offering maths tuition at very competitive rates. Many tutors are university students or recent graduates and in need of some extra cash. They may have excellent subject knowledge and exam technique but equally important is whether they are able to communicate that knowledge to younger students.
Academic excellence does not necessarily make you a good teacher- explanative skills are far more important. I became really good at tutoring maths after many years of developing these skills. Almost a decade later, I am able to understand the individual needs of each student and provide bespoke online maths tuition that meets their requirements- whether it's KS3, GCSE or A-level maths tutoring.
So, whether you are gearing up for an upcoming exam, seeking to master a challenging topic, or simply looking to deepen your mathematical knowledge, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

I have been teaching as a private tutor in the private education sector independently and through agencies across Hampshire for over fifteen years. I tutor full time and this is my business and full time career. Therefore, unlike many teachers who do a few private lessons here and there, I am fully committed and can spend all of my time preparing lessons and focusing on just my private students. I have taught children who are being home schooled, pupils who need some one to one tuition, group tuition, helped to run successful revision courses through an agency and prepared pupils for exams such as Common Entrance, GCSE's and SAT's (all of which I have had successful results with and have kept a record of.)
I have experience of working with several learning difficulties as well as behavioural problems.
I have taught in several schools across Hampshire and other areas of the country.
I am extremely familiar with The National Curriculum, different syllabuses and the variety of examination boards that schools use #/k#and stick to following these.
I have a firm, fun but fair approach to tuition and encourage pupils to work to the best of their ability through praise and reward. I always follow up lessons with advise on what areas need to be improved upon, followed by a positive and encouraging remark about the pupil's work so that confidence is not lost.
I enjoy providing parent's with continual progress reports after each session and offer advise as and when it is needed. I am happy to provide references on request.
I always offer an initial assessment before sessions commence so that I can get a general idea of how I can help the student, and for the student to see whether they like my teaching style. After the assessment, lessons are carefully planned and prepared to meet each individual's needs/requirements. Continual support via e mail is offered (especially for those special cases like exam times, which as we all know can be very stressful for the parent and the student.)

have been in my present post for seven years. During this time I have gained a wealth of experience across the school. I have been instrumental in developing the school’s sport and physical education over this period. I have created a curriculum which allows pupils to be excited and enriched, this includes a physical education programme, where pupils can be immersed with concepts and the use of modern technology to develop technical skills. They are encouraged to improve skills by fun, allowing them to have a stimulating experience. All lessons during the week are planned with many cross-curricular links across the school.

Hi, I'm Zoe!
I've been a primary school teacher for 14 years and a Special Educational Needs Coordinator for the past 8. My passion is in helping children learn and grow in which ever way they do best. I'd love to help in any way I can to support your children in reaching their full potenetial with confidence. My speicalism is identifying what the barriers to their learning may be and finding fun, interactive and inventive ways of helping them break those barriers down. Best of all, let's make learning exciting and teach children to be proud of themselves and of all of their achievements however little they may be x

I am an experienced and enthusiastic Geography teacher specialising in GCSE and A Level.
I have examining experience with a variety of exam boards and therefore understand exam technique well. Furthermore, I have also done the Graydin course for coaching and quickly got to grips with remote teaching and learning, using a variety of programmes to good effect.
My belief is that academic progress is largely linked to confidence, and therefore building this up is essential for success.

After 24 years of teaching science and maths at various places, I have a lot of experience to offer. I have taught biology and chemistry to A-level standards for several years. I am the lead A-level biology teacher and the lead Chemistry teacher at Chichester Free School. I have been gradually increasing my private tuition and now have three years of experience in private tuition. I have a variety of resources available to aid students whatever their preferred learning style. I will teach online for safety but prefer face-to-face when it is safe to do so.
I have been marking A-level biology for four years, although recently this has not been possible, I still keep up the training program and am ready to start again once the exams start up again. Often students have good knowledge of the subject through thorough revision and learning but have trouble in getting the marks in the exams. This experience has given me insight into how the exams are set and marked so I can give good advice to students on how to interpret the questions and how to answer them to maximize their marks.
