I possess strong communication skills, excel in report writing, and am proficient in data collection and management. I am highly skilled in data analysis using tools such as SPSS and MS Excel. Additionally, I have a proven track record in providing effective solutions, establishing professional relationships, and developing comprehensive reports. My background encompasses diverse settings including hospitals, governmental agencies, and private enterprises. I hold a Master of Public Health from Symbiosis International University, Pune, and I am certified in MPH. My experience includes roles as a research assistant, project associate, and conducting public health research. I also completed a rewarding internship at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi, contributing to three notable projects. These projects involved research on street vendors' knowledge and perceptions under the PMJAY Scheme, a published Critical Appraisal of PIPs in Maharashtra, and a published study on the Achievements of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program in India- A way forward.
I served as a Project Associate at Digital Health Associates, New Delhi, overseeing two projects. Additionally, I pursued professional development through the Public Health Foundation of India, achieving an impressive 84% score in the e-course on Maternal, Infant, Young Child, and Adolescent Nutrition (MIYCAN). Currently, I am pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development from IGNOU.
I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply my expertise in health, nutrition, data analysis, and communication skills to your organization. Joining the Department of Health is an exciting prospect for me, and I am committed to continuous professional growth in the field of public health. As a dedicated lifelong learner, I am determined to continually develop my skills and subject matter expertise during my tenure with your organization.

I have a Bachelor of Science with honours in cellular and molecular biology, human biology, drug design and synthesis, infectious disease, psychology and biological psychology.
My postgraduate qualification is a master’s in public health nutrition. This involved the study of human nutrition, clinical science, epidemiology, statistics and public health policy as well as behavioural change psychology.
I have tutored independently for a decade now. Including home schooling for my son during lockdowns. My focus is always on finding the right learning style and tools for each student. For example, I created interactive online flashcards systems for the Scottish Curriculum. Which students can use to play games to solidify their learning. I try to find videos and other materials that may help those finding a particular area challenging. We all have our own learning style and sometimes finding the right format can be a true light bulb moment for students. I find coming to lessons with multiple different formats has really helped my earlier students grasp concepts they were struggling to understand with textbook learning.
I also have training and personal experience of helping those with neurodiversity learn in an encouraging and supportive way.

Hello! I'm a Microbiologist, Biostatistician, and an experienced tutor, specializing in Cancer Biology, Melanoma, Microbiology, English, Science, Statistics, and Mathematics. I am passionate about tutoring students of all grades and levels. I believe that every student has great potentials locked-up within them, waiting to be unlocked by a dedicated, loving, caring and astute teacher. Hence, it has been my resolve over the years, to bring out the best out of every student I get the opportunity to tutor. And, I have been able to produce great students because of this philosophy. No matter how difficult the concept could be, you can trust me to simplify it! I am so excited to work with more students and parents. I am conversant with the use of a digital whiteboard, and other computer applications, that could make the online class look like a physical class. There is no dull moment in my class; I make sure I engage my students so that they would see that learning is so an easy and fun-filled adventure! I have gotten a lot of commendations and recommendations from my past students and their parents, as my students always ace my exams, homework and assignment. I have a first degree in public health, which has provided me with extensive knowledge across various modules that are crucial for addressing health inequalities. My studies included epidemiology, where I learned to analyse patterns of health and disease, and psychological perspectives on health and well-being, which helped me understand the mental health implications related to addiction and homelessness. I also focused on appraising evidence-based literature for health and well-being, allowing me to evaluate research critically and apply findings to practical scenarios. My coursework in community public health and health education emphasised the importance of engaging communities in health initiatives, while community development and engagement taught me how to empower marginalised populations effectively. Additionally, I explored contemporary health issues in health, well-being, and social care, which made me aware of the ongoing challenges faced by vulnerable groups. My experience working in employment related to health inequality, particularly in contexts involving addiction and homelessness, has deepened my understanding of these issues within the public health framework. This combination of academic knowledge and practical experience not only equips me to advocate for policies and programmes that address these interconnected challenges but also makes me a good public health tutor, as I can share insights from both theory and practice to inspire and educate future public health professionals.
