My name is José María de Lucas Sacristán, though most know me as Chema Sacristán. I've been a professional drummer since 2004. After completing my degree in 2011, I worked exclusively as a performing drummer and drum teacher, giving private lessons in my own studio, Oktopus Music Services, in North West London. In the past nine years, I've had the privilege of performing, recording, and writing with some of the best musicians in the London and U.K. scene, such as Kevin Glasgow (one of Europe's best bassists), Robin Banerjee (Amy Winehouse's guitarist), Roberto Manzin (Zucchero), Felipe Martíns (Emeterians), Juan Whist (The Voice National Spanish TV), and many others. I've showcased in most of London's live music venues and with the best U.K. and European entertainment agencies, such as Scarlett Entertainment, Full Stop Entertainment, and more. After a decade working in law, I returned to my language roots and qualified as a languages teacher in 2018. (i) For School UNI students I have a deep understanding of the National Curricula from the different Boards, Aqua, Edexcel, Cambridge, and preparing students for University examinations, including UCL or Oxbridge. My experience gave me the ability to quickly spot the student's strengths and weaknesses. The result is that my students have all gained between B and A or A* or 9, at their A-level or GCSE exams, (I had just one student who was given a B, the others all gain A or A* or 9). However as importantly they are able to enjoy fluent speaking and a full understanding of the Italian Language.
(ii) For Adults and Professional students In tutoring adult and professional students I have developed a method which using authentic teaching material, such as New reading, or listening, songs or moves listening. This has allowed all of them to deal in Italian, to a mother tongue level, such as job interviews or giving presentation, or simply talking with Italians once in Italy

I am a 22 year old music graduate and I play gigs around London with various artists, including my own band. A couple of years ago I started teaching the drums to some students and found that I had a huge passion for teaching and watching my students progress. I try to make my lessons as fun and engaging as possible and always cater to the students needs or wants.
Learning an instrument should be fun; therefore I like to teach people the important parts of drumming (ie. technique, rhythm etc.) whilst teaching them to play their favourite songs. A typical lesson would last around an hour. I have two years experience as a drum tutor and over five as a professional. CAROLINE LENTON-WARD studied at the Royal Academy of Music where she was awarded the Charles Norman Prize. On leaving the RAM, she was granted awards from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust for further studies.
Caroline has appeared with the Royal Opera, Opera North, Kent Opera and the D'Oyly Carte, and performs regularly with BBC Singers, Sinfonietta Voices and London Voices. Solo appearances have included performances at the Royal Festival Hall, Bridgewater Hall and Philharmonic Hall with the RLPO, Mozart's C Minor Mass at the Barbican, Messiah with Sir David Willcocks, the role of the Virgin in Honegger's opera Joan of Arc with the RLPO, conducted by Libor Pesek, Verdi’s Requiem in Ely Cathedral, Vaughan Williams A Sea Symphony, Rossini's Petite Messe Solenelle for the BBC, and Britten’s War Requiem. Caroline was a soloist in James McMillan’s Busqueda for the 10th Anniversary concert of Music for Today series with the Philharmonia at the Royal Festival Hall, and has been a soloist in TV Times Christmas with the Stars at the Royal Albert Hall.
Caroline was a vocal tutor at Goldsmiths, University of London; and was Choral Director and Singing Teacher at Sydenham High School and Grey Coat Hospital School; she set up and ran the Westminster Choral Project and was the founder Musical Director of the Westminster Junior Singers and Youth Choir; she was on the advisory panel for Go Sing singing in schools project. In addition, she has been a member of the BBC Singers outreach team and works as a consultant in Choral Education. She trains the choristers at St Stephens Church Dulwich.

I've learnt modern Greek, Latin and Albanian too. Now learning Japanese. I have experience with diplomats and corporate people from the City and with children and adults with special needs, Asperger's and learning difficulties. I did my teacher training in 2001-2002 after 2.5 years of being a French assistant in London schools. I starting private tuition in 1999.
