I am a qualified teacher with 12 years of classroom experience and over 15 years of tutoring, supporting learners from primary age through to GCSE level. I specialise in English, Science, and 11+ exam preparation, and I adapt my approach to suit each student’s unique learning style and goals.
Alongside subject tuition, I have extensive experience working with children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). I understand the importance of building trust, confidence, and self-belief as much as academic skills.
My sessions are structured, supportive, and tailored to help every learner feel valued and capable. Whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or boosting their confidence, I am committed to providing patient, encouraging, and effective tuition.
Please feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss how I can help your child reach their full potential.

I'm a trainee secondary Geography teacher, currently studying at UCL’s Institute of Education while teaching full-time on placement. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As someone with ADHD and dyspraxia, and with close family experience of autism, I truly understand that every student learns differently. My aim is to help everyone achieve their academic potential, and show anyone with additional barriers in their way that they can succeed in a world not designed for them.
I achieved top grades in school, including an A* in English Literature, an A in Geography, a B in Psychology, and strong results across core subjects like Maths and Science.
I bring patience, empathy, and vast creativity to my sessions, adapting my teaching style to suit each individual. Whether you or your child needs help catching up, boosting their exam skills, or just gaining self confidence, I provide a calm, supportive space to learn and grow.
Im very flexible with location, provided i have a car and a 3 minute walk to the Piccadilly line.
Would love to hear from anyone looking to grow their academic or personal skills!

I have studied Psychology at multiple levels over the last 11 years and am now working towards a post graduate certificate in education so i can pass on my knowledge to the best of my ability.
My undergraduate degree was in Psychology and Criminal Behaviour, which encorporated all main elements of psychology with a forensic unit. I excelled particularly in the study of mental health and therefore pursued a Masters in Clinical Psychology.
While i am well trained in all elements of Psychology due to my degree's and 5 years of work with Mind, I specialise in Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology.
I have also educated myself in Latin and Spanish, though Latin is my strong point, and i would be happy to help tutor any new learners to the complex language.

As a Neuroscience graduate,I always loved learning, and I started tutoring to relay my love for science and learning to others, and allow them to find enjoyment in the process.
I love keeping active, I develop this by running and going to the gym. With this, I have completed a Level 3 Personal Training Qualification, to again relay my love for exercise and help others achieve their fitness goals.
With some trials and tribulations in my educational journey, I believe I have a realistic outlook on furthering your education. I developed and altered my methods of learning, and so I will make sure to share the tips I have learnt along the way with my students. My favourite part of being a tutor is building a relationship with my students and watching their academic growth, turning their academic journey into something they can be proud of!
Students will usually give me a guideline and information on what they feel they struggle with. Thus, as lessons go on and we get comfortable I identify any gaps in their knowledge. Here, I will ensure them that we will work together to conquer difficult tasks, and improve their confidence.
It has been proven very effective to walk through past papers with students and it really maximizes their learning! With this, as we do past papers I identify strengths and weaknesses where I can triage what needs to be covered in more detail. We can also do revision sessions or I can fully re-teach topics to make sure they are happy with the content, which we can then apply to exam questions, as questions are imperative to achieving those high marks.

Please contact me at my email ***@*** for lesson enquires. I teach GCSE and ALEVEL Biology as well as ALEVEL Psychology. Every session will be tailored towards the needs of the student. I will start with a scope of the general grasp the student has of the subject in order to create a plan to improve grades. I will provide notes, questions and papers that are organised myself. If needed, I can also help students formulate a revision plan to maximise study time and take some stress off students during the revision period. I can also provide some help towards medical school application such as some consultation or analysis as to which medical school to apply to with the student’s unique statistics. I can also help with personal statements and UCAT and BMAT preparation. I am a medical student at Barts and the London (Queen Mary University of London). I know exactly how stressful it can be to go through GCSEs, Alevels and the application process to medical school. So I’m here to provide any help I can to ease the process a little and maybe make it a bit more enjoyable and manageable. I can help simplify complex topics and provide easier ways to remember difficult concepts and theories.

Hi everyone, my name is Ta’Liyah and I'm a passionate person with a strong background in GCSE and A-Level English literature, GCSE and A-Level Psychology, GCSE Spanish and quite good in English language GCSE. I love helping students grasp challenging concepts and watching them succeed. With my patient and supportive approach, I tailor my tutoring to fit each student's learning/revision style. While I haven’t tutored with a professional agency, I have tutored/ helped peers, friends, etc since primary school and in addition to that I do have experience working with kids as I was former Head Girl in secondary school so I’m great with teamwork and 1-1 sessions.

Hello! I am a medical student who's looking to begin tutoring. I have experience with working with younger people as I am a mentor with Target Medicine wherein I help 16-18 year olds with their applications to medical school. I am also a volunteer with Education for Choice UCL, in which I go to schools around London and provide workshops on abortion and contraception.
I tutor in Psychology (up to A-Level), Chemistry and Biology (up to GSCE level), English and Maths (primary level to KS3)
The first session is free so your child can see whether I'm the right fit for them. My start date for taking on students is the beginning of June.
If you have any questions or would like further information, don't hesitate to get in contact with me, I reply quickly :)

I am a young, energetic, kind and caring individual who has a passion for primary education. During my time at sixth form, I managed to achieve 3 A levels and I have recently achieved a BSc First- class Psychology degree. I currently work as an associate tutor in a primary school, where I assist whole class teaching, teach my own phonics group and my role focuses highly on the SEMH needs of the students. I have also worked as a mental health worker, I always put the needs of the students first and understand regulating emotions can be difficult for children in KS1 and KS2.
I have learnt many skills and new ideas working in a primary school that I would implement into my teaching ways as a tutor. I will make the sessions fun, engaging and interactive. I have a warm/ strict approach and will be dedicated into teaching my students to success. My main expertise would be primary education. However, I enjoy the subjects, maths and Psychology and would also be willing to help those students that need extra help with these subjects leading up to their GCSE’s.
I have a strong passion for primary education and will be determined and dedicated to leading my students to success.

My Psychology degree and 9 years of experience working with children with Neuro-divergence and additional educational needs prior to teaching have significantly shaped my approach to teaching.
I prioritise relationship building and trust with students and their caregivers.
I am patient, kind, and incredibly encouraging but have high expectations. I work with students for them to also gain high expectations in themselves. This may happen in the first few sessions or may take a longer period of time depending on the student.
I help students gain high expectations for themselves by initially giving tasks where they are guaranteed success, then celebrating and reflecting on this success and how they were able to use the skills taught and their effort to complete the task. This builds a persons confidence and significantly increases the likelihood of attempting more difficult tasks. This is heavily proven by research (and seen in my classroom daily) known as the “theory of self efficacy” and the “theory of planned behaviour”.
If a person does not believe a task is within their capability, they are incredibly unlikely to even attempt it (No matter how much we believe they can do it).
It is my job to SHOW students they can do it by designing tasks and lessons in a way that they feel challenged finish with pride in their achievements.
When teaching new skills I will show them first, then we will complete a task together, then they will apply the skills independently. I will be constantly assessing as they work independently and provide support where necessary. The ultimate goal is to phase back my support until they are using the taught skills correctly, consistently, confidently and independently.
Lessons will vary depending on students needs. If caregivers want to spend a percentage of the lesson to discuss, that will be agreed upon. If there are specific targets you want me to cover then we can dedicate time for you to tell me these expectations. If you would prefer me to assess your student and gage where the gaps are and plan accordingly, that is also ok.
I would suggest an initial session to meet, and discuss goals.
Some classes you may benefit from:
-SATs Prep
-Phonics
-Reading (comprehension, vocabulary, inferencing, predictions, explaining, retrieval, sequencing, summarising, making links, authors intent)
-Spelling
-Grammar (or Spelling and grammar combined)
-Maths
-Maths (arithmetic)
-Maths (Reasoning and Problem solving)
-Target specific - has your teacher said there are targets you need to work on in various subjects?
-Science
-History
-Geography
-Psychology (GCSE, A Level)
Is your child in secondary school but needs support in the foundation subjects such as reading, writing or maths?
Reading and writing is an essential skills in secondary school for every subject. I can support your child to close the gap so they can access all subjects with their peers. Having worked in secondary schools before, I have seen how much students are required to read and write in all lessons, but there will not be opportunities to learn these fundamental skills at school.
I welcome students of all ages (including adults) from all backgrounds and of all abilities.
I look forward to meeting you soon and celebrating the amazing progress ahead!
