Nowadays with the constant growth of the music industry and the constantly evolving expectations, some musicians have entire teams assigned to writing songs for them. One person might be in charge of the lyrics while another one creates the melodies and beats.

Is Songwriting hard?

Another tip is to keep expanding your musical knowledge by learning new chords. Many beginner musicians learn a few chords and then reuse them for every new song they attempt to write. This is absolutely normal in the beginning but after a while it can dull down your creative process. The key to improvement is to keep learning new things and incorporating them into your songs.
