Greater understanding facilitates greater writing possibilities & greater ability to contribute to projects/bands. Much comes down to how we choose to listen, how we choose to interpret & how we can apply a practical understanding of theory & harmony. I approach guitar from a perspective of shapes, patterns & cycles.
