Our home is the place where we spend most of our time. It is really important that we keep our home clean, well organised and comfortable in order to feel good and happy in it. Maintaining your home is not a hard task, but there are many tips that a professional can give you. These tips will make your maintenance much easier and more enjoyable. You can spend hours cleaning and organising your home, but if you know the basic rules of home maintenance, you can do it much faster and easier. 

Make a house maintenance list. This may seem like an odd or unnecessary tip when you're in a hurry, but it's really worth taking five minutes to make a house maintenance list. This is because some of the things you do when you have more time to clean and organise your home may turn out to be unnecessary, but when you are working faster and under a time deficit, properly organising the activities for a quick house cleaning is extremely important.

What are the most important tasks in terms of presenting your house at its best and keeping your guests comfortable? Which should you focus on first - vacuuming, dusting surfaces, cleaning the floors and bathroom, and some finishing touches? First of all, make sure your living quarters are well stocked with towels. 

Work with a smile. Once you have a list for maintaining and cleaning your house, think about which is the fastest way to clean your home. In what order should you clean the rooms? Where should you start in each room? What's the last thing you need to do there, and what haven't you thought of? The moments you spend doing this will save you a lot of time and bring you a sense of satisfaction once you get started.

Cleaning is one of the most important things when it comes to home maintenance. When you start cleaning, always start from top to bottom. Regardless of which room you are cleaning, start from the top down so that dirt and dust from higher surfaces fall onto lower surfaces that have not yet been cleaned. Dump dirt directly onto the floor. Clean all rooms and leave cleaning the floor as the final step. 

Make the bed. When tidying beds, instead of wasting time pushing the sheet between the mattress and bed frame with your fingers, use one hand to lift the corner of the mattress and the other to pull the sheet up. This will save you valuable time. Gather unworn clothes and put them away in the closet or wardrobe. Wipe the dust off the furniture with a microfibre cloth and as we mentioned earlier, work from top to bottom.

Clean all the bathrooms at once. Pour detergent into toilets, bathtubs and sinks. Let it work. During this time, wash the outside of the toilet and bathtub. Finally, you can wipe all shelves and leave the room open to ventilate.
