My name is Panos, a professional musician hailing from Greece and currently based in the UK. I earned my Jazz Guitar degree from the esteemed Philippos Nakas Conservatory in 2014, studying alongside some of the most renowned musicians in the country.
In 2018, I decided to broaden my horizons and moved to the UK to pursue my passion for music. I graduated with a BMus in Music Performance and Production from the University of West London (UWL), where I gained valuable experience and expertise.
Through my involvement with a variety of bands, such as "NOT ENOUGH," "OUTBRAVE," "B.L.E.N.D," and "DAN THEO PROJECT," I was able to refine my craft, develop my own unique style, and gain a wealth of performance experience.
With over a decade of experience teaching electric/acoustic guitar and bass to students of all ages, I have honed my skills as a patient and effective instructor. I am passionate about helping my students learn the essential principles of their instruments and develop a comprehensive understanding of music, all while having fun along the way.
Beyond my teaching work, I'm also keenly interested in music production and sound design. I've had the pleasure of collaborating on a diverse range of projects, including short films, video games, music albums, and theatre productions. These opportunities have allowed me to further develop my skills in audio engineering, mixing, and mastering, as well as to experiment with a variety of music genres and creative styles.
Let's work together to achieve your musical goals and develop your skills in a fun and engaging way. I look forward to meet you and embark on this musical journey together!!

One of the great joys of playing an instrument is to become able to capture the emotive force that the artistes you so admire can evoke.
Discover how they do it. What scales they use, how they create their sublime musical phrases, what their vibrato is like, what ornamentation they favour...
No doubt you want to get a foot in the door fast.
Learn some power chords and play along with your favourite records in the first lesson.
Don't feel abashed about lacking any previous experience. It's not neccessary. I've taken many adult total beginners up to public performance level.
Music theory, Rock, Pop, Acoustic Guitar and Bass Grades.
You don't have to do them but it's nice to be able to guage your progress and if you're hoping to do a GCSE in music or go to a music college being able to show your credentials can be essential to getting an audition.
My students have a 100% pass rate across 30 years.

I am a professional bassist living in East Sussex, England. I've been playing music for as long as I can remember but professionally for the last 5-8 years.
I do all kinds of work from: Studio recording, live shows, composing, and teaching.
It's my goal to help you get a better understanding of the bass and the techniques needed to play. I like to help you learn the songs you want to learn and get you to were you want to be. I'll show you all the tips and tricks and theory how I see it but most importantly I want to taylor the lessons to be around what your own goals with the instrument are.
I'm happy to teach in person or online.

My musical life has crossed many continents on my quest for knowledge. Prior to winning a Scholarship to study at the prestigious Grove School of Music in Los Angeles California, I worked extensively in the UK withwell - known artists and shows. But my desire was always to learn from the best. I got my opportunity in 1991 when I won my scholarship.
Studying at Grove was a life changing experience. Not only did it present the chance to study with such bass luminaries at Joel Di Bartolo (Buddy Rich, The Tonight Show, Ernie Watts,) Tom Warrington (Buddy Rich, Randy Brecker) and Jeff Berlin (Alan Holdsworth), it also gave me opportunity to study advanced Theory, Arranging & Composition with the legendary Dick Grove.
After four years of study and performance in the US, I relocated to Oslo in Norway where I became in demand as an instructor along with numerous performances and sessions. My next move was back to the UK after being asked to teach at several music schools. Being back in the UK opened up many opportunities to perform in multiple situations with the likes of Kenny Jones (The Who), Mike Rutherford (Genesis), Paul Young (Sad Café) and countless Jazz and commercial gigs as well as shows and TV performances.
The Study Never Stops
My lust for knowledge continued unabated, and I continued my study of advanced Improvisation with the legendary Charlie Banacos. As of late, and with the passing of the great man, I am now studying with New York arranger and Pianist Garry Dial. For me, the point of music is always to strive, to improve my knowledge and ability. There is no greater journey then the journey to gain knowledge, whatever your field may be.

I am a professional bassist from the UK, living in Polegate, East Sussex. I have had a vast amount of experience in playing live and in the studio. This experience has helped me develop the skills to feel comfortable playing the bass, and be able to pick up on songs very quickly. I love to share my knowledge and advice with new players to help them get a head start with their playing. Throughout my time as a bass player, I have had many hard times figuring stuff out by myself, which is why I want to help out the new players and save them the trouble.

I've had a multifaceted life since birth - my parents moved me immediately from Russia to the United States, then ten years later to Geneva in Switzerland. Finally at 20 I made my own decision and moved to the UK to pursue music and most of all, witness the comedic and cultural clout of the British Isles I had so long admired. Here, I have managed pubs, reviewed live gigs, finished a degree and several diplomas, worked as a financial journalist, done a brief stint as a court reporter, played rock/jazz/pop shows, and much more. I am now ready to impart the knowledge I gathered in my twenties to whomever may wish to listen!
I take any job I do extremely seriously and would make sure to plan the lesson in line with your needs.

I'm a professional Music lecturer and tutor, Guitar teacher and Bass tutor based in the West Midlands. As a Music tutor/instrumental tutor I have 1000+ hours of teaching experience, I hold a Popular Music Degree and in a College employment setting I have 14+ years experience of teaching college students from ages 16+ to adults in a range of levels (1-5).
I know every student’s journey is different, and my aim is to meet each student where they’re at, learning through Music we discuss their aims and develop the curriculum to develop their understanding.
As a musician I play in a variety of bands and performance situations as well as session work for bands and for artists up and down the UK.
I’m a Bass player for a Midlands based punk band who have released three albums and with this I have played festivals around the UK.
I play Guitar for a folk/rock band, a high end function band and also for a Queen tribute band.
As a teacher I work closely with pupils to develop personal goals, and work together on a simple plan on how to reach them. I believe understanding the reason the student is taking lessons and playing guitar/bass or embarking on other musical developments is fundamental to providing quality tuition, so I strive to create plans with the pupil to support their aims. Each lesson always keeps the pupil’s individual goals at its centre, and is created to develop musical fluency.
Ultimately I teach the student to teach themselves by understanding core musical concepts and developing a base of fundamental skills, these include; Ear Training - learning how to recognise the chords in any given song by ear; Strumming and Picking/Fingerpicking Technique - fluency with all standard right hand techniques is a must, and I teach these prioritising what is commonly used in their favourite styles; Reading TAB as well as Staff notation.
Creative Playing, Song Writing, and Improvising is my favourite area of playing and teaching as it helps learners find their own voice! I help to build knowledge of music theory in a practical and applicable way, exploring new concepts that will enable students to discover new sounds.
Again, this is catered to their aims - if they wish to write songs we'll look at some of their favourite artists/genres, see what they're doing, and set some aims for targets to write using some of their techniques.
If learners want to improvise, we'll explore some of our favourite improvisers - what scales to they use, how do they shape their phrases, and what articulation techniques are employed.
If learners have experience playing but need to improve techniques I can show drills and exercises that will make them a better player.
We explore a lot of aspects - from how to move economically; where to have tension and where to avoid it; tonal possibilities as well as how to structure your practice so you get the most for your time, whether you have a little or a lot.

BMT started in 2005 when founder Sam B. rode his bike to visit students in their homes to give guitar lessons. Back then it was a paper pocket book map, CDs and books, all bookings done in a paper diary…
Fast forward to 2021 and we now run a team of wonderful teachers and admin staff to spread the joy of making kids feel awesome through playing music.
Our teaching philosophy is all about giving students a great lesson experience so they have fun, build confidence and form identity through music.

Learning any instrument should be a fun and rewarding experience, I am passionate about music and hope to pass this onto all the students I teach.
I have been teaching guitar, bass and ukulele since 2000. Throughout this time, I have worked with several different organisations. These include the Derbyshire City and County Music Partnership, Sheffield Music service, HI Gain Guitar school and Harmony Music school. At present I still work along side the Sheffield Music Service as an accredited teacher. This gives me access to professional development courses as well as an enhanced DBS certificate. A recent observation judged my lessons as outstanding.
Through teaching guitar, I have had the pleasure of see many of my students grow into well round musicians performing in bands and working in the music industry. Students range from beginner to established players looking to refine their skills. Everyone is welcome, and I teach students from the age of 7 right through to retired people looking for a new challenge.
Through teaching guitar, I have been interviewed for the guitar tutor magazine as well as being feature in the Guitar techniques magazine.
Aside from teaching I have worked in many bands over my career playing in venues across the country from theatres to clubs and everything in between. One of my claims to fame is performing in front of both Prince William and Prince Harry.
As well as teaching and gigging, I also work for the London College of music as an examiner. For this I travel around the country conducting exams in Guitar, Bass and Ukulele from the beginner stage right through to diplomas in performance and teaching. This work has not only seen me travel across the U. K but I have also completed 2 exam tours of Australia and New Zealand as well as trips to Greece, Cyprus and Ireland.

I have been playing guitar for 16 years and teaching music for 3 years. I have been involved in a variety of different bands and ensembles within that time. My main focus throughout this time has been all kinds of rock music but I also have lots of experience in metal and acoustic singer/songwriter styles. I qualified from Leeds College of Music, gaining a 2:1 degree in Music Production and Performance, and possess a passion for music and teaching. I have recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Music at Edge Hill University, achieving a Distinction in the process.
I take a very professional approach to teaching and I usually like to start the student off with a song to allow them to enjoy playing immediately. No matter what their ability I find a student is always able to learn a song they know and with this approach they progress much faster. I can take you all the way from a very beginner through to advanced levels. I take a practical and direct approach and would expect the student to be involved from the very beginning.
