I have forty-four 5* reviews (https://tutorful.co.uk/tutors/mqwl5nb8). I also have 4 years experience as an AQA A-level Economics examiner. I am also a fully qualified teacher and have taught and tutored both children and adults since 2011. My specialisms are A-level Economics and Business Studies but I have also prepared candidates for Oxbridge entry.
I have tutored both the domestic and international exam boards for many years including: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, EDUQAS, WJEC, CIE, International Edexcel, IB, Pre-U and SEB.
I have tutored online for over 3000 hours and find that for Economics and Business Studies it is as good as in person, if not better, since it is much easier to send model paragraphs and diagrams. I endeavour to make sure my students feel as comfortable as possible and encourage them to ask questions because asking questions is the best way to learn. My sessions are always tailored to the students' individual requirements and are focused around the specific requirements of the exam. Parents often remark that their child is much more confident with the subject following sessions with me.
I have also written 195 questions for a Cambridge University Press iGCSE Economics Textbook.
I am a father of four and a fully qualified teacher turned full-time private tutor with Enhanced DBS Clearance. I am an enthusiastic tutor who has an excellent track record in helping students achieve, or exceed, their target grades. Finally, I have fibre broadband for an excellent online experience.

Hi my name is O. Wares. You can call me Wares. I come from a family of teachers and tutors. I am extremely passionate about education and teaching, and my very first job was tutoring. I taught English Language, Economics and Mathematics from KS3 to GCSE level, EFL/ESL and as well as English Language as an elective course at university level. With all the subjects and modules combined, I have an experience of 8 years of solid teaching. I have consistently improved grades for my students including the GCSE level. I like to use multiple tutoring techniques to explain concepts based on the aptitude and skill level of my students. I am infinitely patient but like to get the job done on time. My goal is always be my student's overall improvement and development in skill, understanding and problem-solving. Currently, I work in the energy sector as a consultant and tutoring as a second job in Exeter, Devon in the UK. However I would like to transition to a full-time tutor. Please feel free to connect if you are interested or have any question. I would love to improve your grades and/or confidence in speaking English.

I am a highly experienced teacher, performer, composer and arranger, living and working in beautiful East Devon. I love and play music of all kinds. Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute are my favourites, as nothing feels closer to the human voice.
After a first class BA in music and a PGCE that specialised in instrumental teaching, I have taught continuously in Devon schools and privately at home for over thirty years.
I offer relaxed lessons to all ages, primary to adult. I believe in an individual approach, following your interests, providing materials to suit, and sharing your love of music. As a performer, I have experience of classical, jazz, folk, pop, soul and rock, and I teach improvisation and ear skills alongside reading. I am fully familiar with the music curriculum and often support it in my lessons. I also offer a full external exam service where appropriate, using the Trinity College syllabus.
So If you're thinking about learning an instrument, or starting again after a break, don't delay.

Throughout my working life, teaching French has been my main occupation. Starting as a language assistant, working as a full time secondary school teacher and working as an Adult Education tutor I have developed a broad range of effective skills which enable the learners to gain confidence in using French whatever their starting level. Passing on my enthusiasm for languages has proven to be thoroughly rewarding. I always seek to inspire my students and I have received excellent feedback. In 2013, I received the award for “inspirational tutor” of the year from South Devon College, having been nominated before on several previous occasions. I have experience in teaching all age groups from children to adults and all levels, frоm beginners tо advanced. I have taught across the age and ability range. I set high expectations for student achievement, always seeking to challenge and motivate so as to maximise the potential of each and every learner.
I thrive on helping others and teaching French has always been one of my passions. I have been told I am very patient, I explain things very clearly and have a good sense of humour.

I am incredibly passionate about Spanish and language learning in general and look forward to helping others fall in love with Spanish too! I have a high level of Spanish, stuyding it at Univeristy and being in the native speakers' class (even though I am not a native). I also did A-level Spanish which I received an A* in and GCSE Spanish which I achieved a 9 in. Areas I will be particulary useful in include grammar, vocabulary, and exam preparation. I have experience working with children, having done babysitting for multiple families in my area.

I have a range of experience from several roles I have held, but I'd love to give you a brief overview of my qualifications.
I finished my GCSEs in 2021 and achieved 9s in both English Language and Literature, and a Distinction in my English Language Speaking Exam. Writing essays is an aspect of my education that I have always found tiresome and dull, like most students, but it can become a stress-free aspect of GCSE and A-Level if you know what the examiner is looking for. This is what I will be trying to teach to my students.
For my A-Levels I attended Exeter College and studied English Literature, Classical Civilisations, and Philosophy. I also did an Extended Project Qualification. I was proud to achieve AAB with an A in EPQ when I graduated in 2023, and am excited to pass on the revision and essay-writing skills I learned during the two years I did my A-Levels.
I am currently volunteering as a Teaching Assistant at my local primary school. Through this role I have significantly developed my ability to teach KS1, KS2, and even KS3 children, as well as dyslexic children. I have learned to be kind and patient with them, while paying attention to what makes the child an individual. Since every child learns differently, I take time to figure out how best to tutor every child. Not only this, but I am being given expert advice from some of the best primary school teachers in the country, who I have the utmost respect for as most of them taught me when I attended the school.
From the ages of 17-18 I worked at Build-A-Bear Workshop in Exeter, so I developed my skills working with children of all ages.
Finally, I was lucky enough to be a shortlisted Oxford candidate for English Language and Literature last year, so I am happy to help with personal statement writing, interview prep, or even ELAT preparation.
I hope you have found my brief description informative, but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. :)

My work revolves around assisting sen students in there learning typically on a 1-1 basis due to several students being disregulated. I personally love helping students develop there learning and understanding as I personally enjoy developing new skills. I also spent most my teenage years tutoring ks3 students in English as the school I went to had a large quantity of students that were struggling. I strive to assist in helping your child achieve everything they want and I'm beyond willing to do whatever I can to support them and their needs. Prices are negotiable if you're willing to pay for longer sessions or more regular sessions.
