I am an undergraduate Psychology student at the University of Exeter, with a strong academic background that includes completing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the IGCSE curriculum. In the IB, I pursued English A at a Higher Level, which honed my critical thinking and analytical skills, and further developed my passion for literature and language. Before that, I completed my IGCSEs, where I am part of the English Literature course. I also have a distinction in Chinese, reflecting my proficiency in bilingual communication, furthermore, I also speak Cantonese (dialect) fluently and Japanese (at a conversational level). My international background, including time spent in Hong Kong, has shaped me both academically and personally. While there, I volunteered as an English tutor at a children’s home, working closely with young learners to improve their English skills. This hands-on teaching experience not only developed my ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible way but also fostered my passion for education and helping others.
As I progress in my Psychology studies, I aim to blend my understanding of human behaviour with my passion for language and education, pursuing opportunities that allow me to apply both fields meaningfully. My academic achievements and diverse experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective that I am eager to continue developing. |
