My biggest Asset (apart from knowing maths) PATIENCE, I am keen to build up the students confidence in themselves and their ability
I have a lot of experience with students that find Math's more difficult especially those with Dyslexia, adhd dyscalculia etc.
I will use different methods, both conversational, real life examples or concrete materials to support the students understanding.
I have 7 years practice of working with students who find Math's very difficult and have issues with recall.
Whether you are sitting for the 1st time or Resitting your GCSEs I am here to help you build your confidence and achieve your desired grade 4 and above.
Online is just as good as in person and allows more students to recieve support.

I have a great deal of experience as a tutor. I have been working at one of the UK's leading Grammar Schools for the past four years. I tutor maths GCSE and A level online. I have also conducted numerous online webinars/ webclasses and drop-in sessions for students across the country for A Level maths. I love to make maths engaging. My instagram and YouTube accounts (Mark-a-minute maths) has had a wide following from students and I consistently post short 1 minute videos for students to get snappy, bitesize reviews of topics and model answers to exam questions.

My methodology is tailored to each student needs and the progress is monitored regularly. I am very confident with the methods I use as I tutor at different levels which means I can choose the right level based on student needs. I always follow a simple approach in teaching Maths I teach in a clear simple style and I make sure the student understands by testing.
I plan my lessons in advance based on student needs! I am flexible, I can do practice based on exam papers for higher levels or I can also do individual lesson plans for any topic on lower levels. I am confident with all levels.
For each lesson I send notes and I also provide workbooks and homework !
In my free time I enjoy going to the gym. I also enjoy decorating my flat and also cooking!

I am currently a deputy headteacher, but also have an NPQH (headteacher qualification). I have previous successful experience of tutoring primary age students in English and Maths and am currently offering a limited number of sessions to help fund my son going to university!
My approach is driven by an assessment of learning need, followed by a tailor made program of tutoring designed to meet the needs of individual students. I use high quality resources and have a quiet and patient approach when working with students. I am able to offer online tutoring.

My main goal is allowing students to first of all understand Maths and Science. And second of all enjoy it, begin seeing that everything around them is essentially maths and science. From their phones, to their bodies and the earth surrounding them.

I am an experienced maths teacher and tutor, with a strong mathematics background and knowledge. I have a maths degree from Bristol University and I have worked for years in secondary schools teaching mathematics, so I am aware of the syllabus and curriculums. I have tutored a number of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils over the years to attain the best GCSE mathematics grade that they can. I am patient and good at explaining at all levels of difficulty. I have great interpersonal skills and am always positive, happy and inspiring. I also have a lot of experience in teaching children with special educational needs.
