Mathematics, English, and Science have always been among my strongest and most enjoyable subjects. With a First Class degree in Biomedical Science and a deep interest in education, I bring both academic knowledge and a passion for teaching to my tutoring. Science, in particular, is a subject I have studied extensively and continue to apply in my full-time role at a private histology lab in Central London. Over the past five years, I have tutored students in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English, working with learners from Year 9 to Year 12. My students have gone on to achieve excellent results, with several securing places at top universities including Oxbridge for Maths and Physics. I also provide support for university interview preparation. My teaching approach is highly personalised. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style, academic goals, and areas for improvement. I believe in making lessons interactive and engaging by encouraging student input and focusing on active learning strategies such as problem-solving, exam technique, and learning from mistakes rather than passive note-taking. My tutoring journey began during my own school years, where I led weekly afterschool sessions to support younger students. This experience shaped my belief in the importance of mentorship and peer-led learning. In addition to academic tutoring, I have also mentored students in music. I hold Grade 8 in Piano and Grade 7 in Singing, which has strengthened my communication skills and my ability to build positive, productive relationships with both students and parents. Whether your child is preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, or university applications, I am committed to helping them build confidence, improve their skills, and reach their full potential in a supportive and structured environment. |
