Maths, English and Science were some of my favourite subjects in school, and since it hasn’t been very long since I’ve left my secondary education, I am well versed in those three subjects, science to a further level due to my degree. I hope I can be of help to all students, as I have a very specific methodology of teaching, personalised for each student, and will be happy to have the student’s input too. I have experience in teaching those younger than me in my school days, where I headed an afterschool session once a week for those who needed help with anything they were taught throughout the year. I also made sure they were prepared for exam season, making sure that they focused on exam papers, and learning and revising through making mistakes with those questions, rather than making notes. I have helped students with improving their musical talents as well, as I have played the piano and learnt singing to a high level (Grade 8 Piano and Grade 7 singing), and this helped me learn better communication with students as well as their parents. I have taught for 3 years now, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English. I have had students leave to go to University as well as students who just started their GCSE pathways. Some of my students have gone onto Oxbridge Maths and Physics, as I also support their interviews. My lessons are initially for GCSE students but I usually begin at year 9 all the way to year 12. |
