I am a highly experienced and enthusiastic tutor to students up to 18 years of age with a Masters in Education and responsibility for tutoring and assessing newly qualified teachers. I have taught in schools as a senior leader for over 20 years and have been an examiner for the Edexcel and AQA exam boards for over 15 years. I pride myself in delivering personalised learning programmes to all of my students and ensure that all work completed is awarded with the highest level of written and verbal feedback. My lessons are always well resourced and are matched to the student's abilities and interests to make them challenging, engaging and enjoyable. I am very professional but also have an excellent rapport with my students. Hi! My name is Huda H. and I am from Crawley, West Sussex. I graduated from the University of Northumbria. I did a bachelors degree on Bio Medical Science. I am currently a Maths and Science Tutor. I have experience in tutoring female students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Science for three years. I started tutoring primary students during my GCSE'S. After sucessfully completing my degree, with a second class honours, I wanted to make teaching as my profession. I have been able to help students who were facing a lot of difficulties in understanding the subject by breaking it down step by step making the topic more interesting and easier for the students. I have been able to help my students get through their exams and achieve the best results. I am currently working part time as a Maths Teacher for year 11 students at Oxbridge Online School. I conduct my lessons online via zoom/google meets and I do in person tuition at my home. I provide presentation slides for my students for each subject i teach so that they can refer the slides in the future. I make sure I go step by step when teaching my students. The exam boards I am currently aware of are Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA and OCR.
I have over 15 years experience in Teaching, and over 12 years experience in Private Tutoring. I currently offer both face-to-face in person tutoring for 1:1 or small groups. I cater for each child's specific needs through appropriate differentiation, and according to their individual interests. I strive to make the learning fun and engaging, and adapt the lesson as we go to ensure the most enjoyment and motivation. My lessons are usually 1 hour long, depending on the needs and abilities of the child and I cover the ages from KS1 up to GCSE in both English and Maths. I also offer home schooling sessions to individuals who are unable to access the mainstream education system, whether it be from a SEND need, a preference or from anxiety, for example. These sessions cover the Core subjects as well as teaching Life Skills such as cooking, woodwork and sewing etc. In addition to this, I offer discrete tutoring for adults in Maths and English (Reading).

I am a Year 12 student in Saint Olave's Grammar School for Boys who teaches maths for 11+/KS3 exams. I do online maths tutoring or tutoring within 5 miles radius of my home. I have experience tutoring 11+ candidates with their maths exams resulting in most passing their maths exams.
I remember vividly how it was going through all the preparation necessary for my 11+ exams and this effectively allows me to relate to the current candidates. I know the stress and even fear that might accompany getting ready for the exams as I have gone through it therefore I aim to help my students prepare effectively but most importantly in a way which will not pile on extra pressure.
My teaching techniques are letting my student answer the questions first try and then I go through the questions they felt they were not comfortable with, suggesting other methods they could try to answer the question but making sure they understand it as well. For the questions answered well I still suggest alternative methods so they can pick the method they feel most comfortable with. I have considerable experience being a tutor as I tutored last year's candidates for their 11+ exams in maths, resulting in a high pass rate. My lessons are 2 hours and for students doing 11+ or exams in KS3.
