I have over 15 years experience in Teaching, and over 12 years experience in Private Tutoring. I currently offer both face-to-face in person tutoring for 1:1 or small groups. I cater for each child's specific needs through appropriate differentiation, and according to their individual interests. I strive to make the learning fun and engaging, and adapt the lesson as we go to ensure the most enjoyment and motivation. My lessons are usually 1 hour long, depending on the needs and abilities of the child and I cover the ages from KS1 up to GCSE in both English and Maths. I also offer home schooling sessions to individuals who are unable to access the mainstream education system, whether it be from a SEND need, a preference or from anxiety, for example. These sessions cover the Core subjects as well as teaching Life Skills such as cooking, woodwork and sewing etc. In addition to this, I offer discrete tutoring for adults in Maths and English (Reading). |
