Hi,
My name is Russell and I have been a qualified teacher for over 10 years now. I have worked in a number of different education settings including primary, secondary, further education and SEND. I can offer tutoring for any reason you have, whether it be to improve confidence, work on specific areas or prepare for SATS/GCSE's. I have experience teaching both Foundation and Higher tier GCSE so can cater for any need.
I always offer my first session for free so that you can see whether I am the right fit moving forward. My rate is £25 per hour however, I am happy to negotiate this also.

I am 37 years of age and have more than 11 years of teaching experience. I have more than 11 years experience of tutoring pupils of all ages. I enjoy tutoring and am considered to have a caring approach and I try to make sure that learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation. When tutoring, I find it very important to allow the student to feel confident in their work using lots of praise. It is important that the student feels they can get something wrong, so long as they try. This helps me to find out any misconceptions they might have, so I can re-teach any topics they may need refreshing. I ensure children are challenged age appropriately, and support learners to gain confidence when they are back in the classroom. I am able to work at home or in the pupil's home (happy to travel up to 5 miles from my home) and am currently available evenings and week-ends.

Hi, my name is Dan and I am a qualified maths teacher with a First Class degree looking to provide private maths tuition. I have nine years experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 maths in a high achieving local secondary school. I have previously privately tutored eight students through their GCSEs. I have full DBS clearance and am happy to share this with any client. I believe that every child can achieve in maths. As a teacher working full time I have access to a wide array of resources and exam materials. I am an experienced, qualified teacher and tutor of 20+ years. I am educated to master's level and have expereince teaching and tutoring primary and preparatory school pupils (ages 6 - 13). I can provide home learning support in all primary subjects as well as specialist English tuition. I have just finished my second year of undergraduate studies in physical natural sciences at Cambridge, on course for a first-class degree and continuing with physics and maths next year. I am an enthusiastic tutor with experience teaching A-level physics, chemistry and maths. I focus on building a strong subject knowledge base with a view to improving exam grades. I tutor physics, maths, further maths and chemistry at GCSE and A level. I am a maths graduate from Aberystwyth University and a current data scientist in Bristol. I have experience helping 4 students achieve A*/A grades in Maths GCSE, and I am familiar with the major GCSE Maths exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA, and OCR.

I have just finished by BSc in Psychology at UCL, and I'm about to take a year out of my studies to dedicate all my time to tutoring.
I am eager to help teach those of all levels, and I'm confident not only in my maths skills, but also my ability to portray difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand, manageable way.
Throughout my time as a tutor, I have taught individuals of all ages (from 6 to 35), at all different levels (from the beginning of school to A-Levels) and from all parts of the world. I have also tutored for several years in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and even some English for younger children and those who do not speak English as their first language. This in particular I have found thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable.

The main thing that I try to instil in my students is the idea that maths is NOT about the answers. I never want my students to be afraid of getting things wrong. I encourage them to get things wrong. I want them to ask me questions, and then ask more questions until they understand fully.

I am looking to teach people from kS1 to GCSE students. I have above average results in English, Mathematics and Combined Science. I also would be able to tutor French and Hospitality and catering.
