I am 37 years of age and have more than 11 years of teaching experience. A dynamic, ambitious and hard-working teacher with experience in state and independent school systems across the age range from Reception to KS4. I have more than 11 years experience of tutoring pupils of all ages. When tutoring, I find it very important to allow the student to feel confident in their work using lots of praise. I qualified as a primary teacher in 2023, with a specialism in SEND, and have since worked with children across a range of ages and additional needs in specialist settings.

I currently work at a tutorial college in Bristol, teaching Physics and Maths at A-level. In addition to this, I help to administer the UCAS process (help produce personal statements ands write academic references), and also the examination entry process. I have over 25 years experience as a teacher, tutor and middle manager, and still teach and prepare students for A-level exams.

I am a maths graduate from Aberystwyth University and a current data scientist in Bristol. I have experience helping 4 students achieve A*/A grades in Maths GCSE, and I am familiar with the major GCSE Maths exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA, and OCR.

I started teaching back in year 10, when I opened a learning centre at my school to teach English to underprivileged children in my neighbourhood back home in India. I worked with these children for over 2 years, using my knowledge of effective learning methods as a student to help these children communicate fluently in English despite not being exposed to the language much before. I have just finished by BSc in Psychology at UCL, and I'm about to take a year out of my studies to dedicate all my time to tutoring.
I am eager to help teach those of all levels, and I'm confident not only in my maths skills, but also my ability to portray difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand, manageable way.
Throughout my time as a tutor, I have taught individuals of all ages (from 6 to 35), at all different levels (from the beginning of school to A-Levels) and from all parts of the world. I have also tutored for several years in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and even some English for younger children and those who do not speak English as their first language.
