Mathematics and Chemistry lessons in Newport, UK.
I am a chemistry graduate from Cardiff University. My four years of university have allowed me to develop valuable learning methods. I have healthy experience in teaching, which I have acquired over the years with my time teaching in the mosque, private tutoring and mentoring at the university. My expertise lies in chemistry, predominantly in organic chemistry and spectroscopy-which I can teach up to the undergraduate level. I am well equipped to also teach mathematics up to GCSE level. My wealth of experience in working, running a business and studying will present digestible teaching sessions to my students with real-life examples. I have connections with many professional services and can guide students through education. I can help with job and university applications. My lessons will not be spoon-fed but aimed to help students understand concepts from a different perspective- to the point where they are teaching me.
"You have to learn to fail to succeed". My teaching will act on this, underpinning common mistakes in maths and chemistry. I have access to a range of in-depth literature to enhance further my students understanding of the subject.
Let us learn together! I look forward to working with you all.

Hi there, my name's Naomi :)
I have just finished by BSc in Psychology at UCL, and I'm about to take a year out of my studies to dedicate all my time to tutoring.
I am eager to help teach those of all levels, and I'm confident not only in my maths skills, but also my ability to portray difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand, manageable way.
Throughout my time as a tutor, I have taught individuals of all ages (from 6 to 35), at all different levels (from the beginning of school to A-Levels) and from all parts of the world. I have also tutored for several years in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and even some English for younger children and those who do not speak English as their first language. This in particular I have found thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable.
My schedule is flexible, and I'm happy to add in multiple sessions each week to accommodate to your needs, even during the Summer. I'm prompt and presentable, and most of all, I'm enthusiastic about my subjects.
The main thing that I try to instil in my students is the idea that maths is NOT about the answers. I never want my students to be afraid of getting things wrong. I encourage them to get things wrong. I want them to ask me questions, and then ask more questions until they understand fully.
Don't hesitate to get in contact with me about any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!

My name is Amber M., and I am a qualified and experienced Secondary Maths teacher with a genuine love for helping students uncover the wonders of mathematics. With 11 years of experience in schools, and 5 years as an Assistant Examiner, under my belt, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These experiences have enriched my teaching approach, allowing me to create inclusive and effective learning environments for every student I encounter.
As much as I enjoy the excitement of the classroom, life has presented me with a unique living situation. My daughter and I have chosen to embrace the freedom and tranquility of living on a narrowboat, navigating the waters of the Kennet and Avon Canal – with a few bumps along the way! It is amidst this beautiful natural setting that I find inspiration and the perfect space to create my virtual classroom.
I am passionate about providing accessible and quality education to students, especially during crucial milestones such as GCSE exams, whether you're struggling with a challenging concept or need to secure a specific grade for higher education.
I am thrilled to offer higher impact, cost effective, group and one-to-one, online tuition sessions tailored specifically for students sitting their GCSE Maths exams. These sessions are designed to foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment, where students can learn from each other's perspectives and collectively thrive academically.

PROJECTS
A Review on Targeted Maximum Likelihood Estimation (TMLE) For Average Treatment Effect (ATE) of Binary Treatment for Correctly Specified Model
As, a part of my dissertation work in the B. Sc. Course in Statistics, I have worked on this topic, by generating datasets on R software and used Minitab (Statistical Software) for computing different parameters for the study. For estimating the average effect of a cer-tain binary treatment, the targeted maximum likelihood estimation (TMLE) approaches are always preferred more. The TMLE approach is used to improve the probability of the correct model specification by estimation using Efficient Influence Curve (EIC) function, which is one of the semiparametric double robust methods. Under the guidance of a pro-fessor of my college, I have worked on the utility and the real-life circumstances of the TMLE Process, assuming cancer to be a binary treatment. This work helps me to grow up an ability to overcome challenges and to develop my interpersonal analytical skills.
TECHNICAL SKILLS SQL: Learned as part of my postgraduate coursework.
- R, C, Python Programmings: Learned as a part of general Computer Science course in my undergraduate degree.
- HTML, CSS: Learned as a part of general Computer Science course in my undergraduate degree.
- Minitab (Statistical Software): Used for different computations for the dissertation work in my undergraduate course in Statistics.
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint: Learned as a part of general Computer course in my higher secondary.

- I have worked as an animal rescuer in my locality in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, for about 10 years. I was being a member of the animal rescue and welfare teams “Love and Care” and “Shisha”. This helps me to build resilience, leadership and empathy.
