I have experience working with kids and young adults in classroom settings and have overseen revision sessions for students in secondary school while they were studying for A-level exams. I was appointed head boy in upper sixth and so I have a strong background in communicating and working with a variety of ages. I have volunteered in local primary schools to work with kids in young settings also, I really enjoyed my time doing this and found it to be an invaluable experience for my interest in teaching.
I am a PhD student in Materials Science, specialising in metallurgy and additive manufacturing. I am currently awaiting my viva and possess substantial experience in teaching and outreach within the STEM field.
