About the lesson: Relaxed environment tailored to your personal needs. Lessons vary between 30 mins and 1 hour and can be as long as 2 hours with the addition of theory. They can take place in your preferred location or mine. Feel free to get in touch for more information. About Me:I grew up in Athens, Greece, I am a graduate of the Berklee College of Music (US) affiliate's, Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Modern Music department and I specialise in Rock, Metal and Fusion. In addition, I have more accreditation from RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors) and BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music Institute), but I believe in a hands on approach. Last but not least, I have participated in many groups and toured the UK and Europe. I recently composed and released an album and I am currently writing new material. Outside of music, I value health and exercise and I am always looking for ways to challenge myself and grow as a person.
I enjoy teaching lessons that are relevant to each individual students. This requires a bit more work for me to prep but I think my students benefit from every lesson being tailored to them. We'll learn all the chords, scales, technique and knowledge encountered in the grade books but through more unique and engaging content.

I have studied Classical Music to degree level, majoring in Performance (in which I gained a first), with modules also in Composition (for which I have won the Michael Grady Composition Prize), Music Therapy, Indian Improvisation, Ensemble Studies, Music Industry, Historical, Critical and Analytical Studies amongst others.
Having 10 years of professional teaching experience with students of all ages, BA (Hons) in Classical Music Performance and experience in the music industry, I am an ideal teacher for any student, whether their interest is casual, educational or professional, or for any genre, such as pop, rock, classical, jazz or world music. Each student's syllabus will be tailor made based on their current skill level, goals and tastes, with exercises and repertoire added to enhance their learning.

One of the great joys of playing an instrument is to become able to capture the emotive force that the artistes you so admire can evoke.
Discover how they do it. What scales they use, how they create their sublime musical phrases, what their vibrato is like, what ornamentation they favour...
No doubt you want to get a foot in the door fast.
Learn some power chords and play along with your favourite records in the first lesson.
Don't feel abashed about lacking any previous experience. It's not neccessary. I've taken many adult total beginners up to public performance level.
Music theory, Rock, Pop, Acoustic Guitar and Bass Grades.
You don't have to do them but it's nice to be able to guage your progress and if you're hoping to do a GCSE in music or go to a music college being able to show your credentials can be essential to getting an audition.
My students have a 100% pass rate across 30 years.
I've been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I'm now 26 in march (2023). Have an encyclopedic knowledge of all things music related. Will cater to any genre interests on the guitar. I can also teach Acoustic guitar as well. Jitsi meet up calls are preferred wherever possible due to them being free while a zoom meet up is only free for the first 40 minutes. I charge. £20 for half an hour or £40 for an hour. Currently, able to play some grade 8 (UK) level pieces.

I am a versatile guitarist, songwriter and media composer known primarily for my work with the London-based alternative pop band Tenacity. I have been teaching guitar independently for the past two years, with students praising me for my unique approach to teaching practical methods of applying music theory, as well as my friendly manner.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine; to me, there is no greater feeling than giving the gift of knowledge, and I love to explore the different ways people learn. I have 16 years playing experience of acoustic, electric and bass guitar as well as an NVQ in music technology.

I chose to study Mathematics at A-Level and then univeristy not out of some deep love for the subject, but simply because it was fun and challenging. It is problem solving to the extreme which requires grit and optimism. Far from being the stereotypical maths student, I enjoyed music (I played in a band during university), surfing and mountaineering. Having a wide interest base gives me life experience that means I am approachable and able to relate easily to people.
In sixth form I tutored a Year 9 pupil heading into GCSEs who lacked confidence when it came to Maths. Over the proceeding months we focussed on areas of struggle and building confidence. She passed her GCSEs and is now happily studying in univeristy. This lead to me teaching GCSE level Maths in Tuscany, Italy, over a month during my second year at Cardiff University. This was a unique and rewarding experience, with a fair share of communication challenges due to teaching in what was for some students their second or third langauge! However, I was commended on my communication skills and positive nature.
After completing univeristy in June 2020, I worked various jobs while preparing for Royal Marines training. I began Recruit Training early 2022. Ultimately I was unsuccesful during training but am now happily studying a MSc in Economics at Durham Univeristy.
