Education is the liberating force of this world - I have used this to show my student what a great and wonderful world we live in. I see myself as professional with a diligent attitude towards work; I am also self motivated with strong interpersonal skills. I have highly developed skills in research and planning, along with this I am team player who is goal oriented. I seek to foster an environment in which my students perform at the highest. As a teacher of the humanities specializing in History, Geography and Social Studies/Sociology, my students benefit from being engaged in well rounded teaching and learning experience. This makes the classroom exciting and full of adventure, through the facilitation of critical and creative thought in my students. I have a range of experience in different schools. I Have worked in a private girls secondary school in the support department, teaching 121 with students as well as covering classes and supporting the subject teacher. I work alot with students witn dyslexia, autism, ADHD as well as other special educational needs. In addition to this ai worked for 1 year in the state sector carrying out my teacher training. Here I was able to scaffold and differentiate work according to the children's needs and capabilities.
I am a fourth year medical student studying at the University of Birmingham, originally from South London. I'm currently taking a year out of medicine to study Public Health and Population Sciences. I achieved 11A*s at GCSEs and gained 2 academic scholarships at school. I can understand how stressful exams can be so I want to try and help anyone I can in the most comfortable and relaxing learning environment!

Iam currently teaching at a big Secondary School in Surrey. Previously I taught for 5 years at a school in Hackney London. I have taught a range of exam boards. At GSCE I have taught OCR, AQA and Edexcel. At KS5 I have taught the Cambridge Pre-U course, AQA and OCR.
I have been tutoring for a number of years and am happy to travel or to host. If public places are preferable then I am happy to meet at the Oxted Library, in Oxted, or am open to suggestions. In terms of tutor sessions, I am happy to run through content and case studies, or support provide exam material and develop exam practice.
