I have been teaching GCSE and A-Level Chemistry for over 16 years.
I am a passionate and experienced teacher that likes and do work with teens very well. I have taught mathematics and chemistry to students who others said cannot do well that ended up excelling in their examinations both internal and external examinations.
During my current course I have led teaching groups of young children in regards to maintaining good oral health care alongside volunteering as a reading assistant during my Secondary school days. I myself have benefited from tutoring during GCSE's and A-levels and believe I understand what techniques help on exam day. My method entails working through real exam questions with my students until they are confident and are no longer afraid to tackle the most testing questions. At this point I go onto challenge my students with questions that may present as curve balls to boost their confidence and intrigue them to approach challenges positively. I would be looking to tutor in Chemistry and Biology at GCSE and below as my previous and current degree are based around the two core subjects.
I charge competitive prices and I understand what is required for a student to be succesful and show growth versus one that is stagnating and is becoming frustrated with not seeing results. www.*** first lessons are on me, just so that the chemistry (pun intended) between my teaching methods and the students requirements are met perfectly.

My name is Leya B. and I'm currently a 3rd year dental student. I am willing to teach Biology and Chemistry as they are subjects that I have excelled at ( grade 9 in GCSE and A in A Levels).
I believe that understanding how a student learns best is crucial for their academic success. I focus on figuring out how each student learns best, so they can understand things easily. I have a BSc and PhD in Chemistry, and have taught Science in schools for nearly 20 years, specialising in Chemistry up to A-level. I have taught in secondary schools, and in adult learning environments over this period, in the UK and abroad. Whilst working in a private laboratory, I delivered and assessed Science A-level Practical Endorsement courses, catering for home-schooled students and adult learners who do not have access to school laboratories. I am also an examiner for A-level Chemistry.
