I have taught Chemistry to A level for 41 consecutive years and A level Biology for the first 20 years over a long and highly distinguished career in 5 outstanding colleges in the North West of England. I have also been Head of Science and Head of Sixth form and have managed teams of teachers. I have had responsibility for course delivery planning development and assessment throughout my career and produce many high class quality teaching and learning resources. I use modern methods of retrieval practice, scaffolded learning and algorithms to help my learners deal with the complexity and difficulty of A level Chemistry. My passion is teaching and learning and to assist my learners at all times. |
