I am PGCE/QTS qualified Science teacher with a specialism in Chemistry which I am able to teach post 16.(A-Level/IB) I have over 11 years experience in teaching and have always produced exceptional results at one point improving a students grade from a U to an A also with students hard work.

I have taught in a range of secondary schools in London and have been in charge of KS5 (A level Sciences) working with under performing students to boost grades as well as improving the percentage of A*/A in the cohort. I am currently working as a Head of Chemistry in an East London School.
Tutoring Approach
My Lessons are tailored towards the student and feedback can be given to the parent if required on the first lesson for initial impressions and a suitable plan going forward. There is regular contact with the parent and Mock exams conducted throughout the year(free of charge as long a regular weekly lessons have been taking place). Students will be provided with topics that they need to focus on as well as teaching of the specific areas that student is weak in as well as application onto past paper questions the student needs.

Science Clinic Private Tutors was founded in 2010. Our vision was to help struggling children understand the concepts of the major subjects which are sought after by many colleges & universities. Our tutoring was mainly in the main subjects (Maths, all 3 Sciences & English Language) to exam students only. Because of the huge demand of tutoring in all year groups, we now teach students across the board from Primary (KS1 & KS2) through to GCSE, A-level and University. Lesson will consist of prepared notes which will be discussed during the tutoring sessions. There will be supported by use of worksheets and then exam style questions. Each lesson will be based on specific areas of the syllabus that is intended to support the work that is being undertaken in the classroom. This will follow the part of the syllabus being taught in the classroom, to support and re-inforce student learning.
I use videos to support learning and these will be showed used a laptop. I will use a projector (if it is possible). If the student wishes to only look at specific areas if the syllabus, then I will undertake to produce material to support this request.
