Hi, I’m Hephzibah — a 2nd-year Medical Student at Imperial College London, currently ranked 2nd in the world (QS 2025). I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, and I also support students applying to study Medicine in the UK. I achieved a 9 in GCSE Biology and an A* in A-Level Biology with the Edexcel Salters-Nuffield board, which is known for being one of the most challenging. I also earned an A in A-Level Chemistry and a 9 at GCSE level. Studying Medicine has deepened my understanding of both subjects, especially the underlying mechanisms that make Biology come to life in real-world contexts. Over the past two years, I’ve tutored over 30 students in Biology and Chemistry—both privately and through the tutoring company NX Tuitions. Many of my students have gone from struggling with grade 5s and 6s to achieving 8s and 9s at GCSE, and from stuck B grades to solid A and A* grades at A-Level. My tutoring style is based on strategies I developed during my own revision. I kept detailed notes on what actually worked for me—from mastering timing to structuring exam answers—and now use that to help my students build confidence and real exam technique. They often tell me that I make complex ideas feel much simpler and easier to remember. For GCSE students, I focus heavily on how to secure marks efficiently under time pressure. For A-Level students, I specialise in helping them break through the plateau at B grade, by improving both their scientific understanding and their approach to exam questions. Alongside science tutoring, I also guide students through the Medicine application process, including personal statement writing and interview prep. I received offers from top universities like the University of Manchester and Imperial College London, so I know what it takes to stand out. I also work as an academic scholar supporting Austrian international students who are applying to study Medicine in the UK. If you’re looking for someone who’s passionate about helping you genuinely improve—whether it’s mastering content, exam skills, or the path into Medicine—I’d love to support you on that journey. |
